Surgery went well and the team and Somersby Vet will be monitoring him through the night. 🙏

Today's the day. Our brave boy Turbo is going in for his amputation, and honestly, we're feeling all the feelings. He has stolen every one of our hearts since the day he arrived.
To everyone who has followed his journey, checked in on him, and cheered him on, thank you. It has meant more to us than you know. And to the beautiful team at Somersby Animal Hospital, thank you for caring for him like he's your own.
We'll be counting down the minutes until he's back in our arms. You got this, little man. ❤️🙏

Turbo....This journey hasn't been easy for either of us. You're such a little fighter and I don't know where I have found the dollars or hours to support you, but you are truly worth every cent. You are my calm.

What you give in life... you really do get back ten fold ❤️

🌿 Two young blokes ready for work in the community 🌿

CENTRAL COAST NSW

We would love your help with this one. Ryan and Archie have been part of our community work experience program here at The Stockyard Community Farm, and honestly, watching them grow in confidence has been one of the best parts of our week.

They have been getting stuck into all sorts of hands on work...

- Spreading mulch
- Trimming hedges
- Clearing up with the leaf blower,
- General garden and yard tidy ups,
- Feeding and caring for animals (including one very spoilt lamb with a sore leg and a big heart).

They turn up ready to go, they take pride in their work, and they take safety seriously, gloves, ear protection and glasses on whenever the job calls for it.

Now they are keen to take those skills out into the wider community and pick up some local work.

Ryan and Archie are available Tuesdays and Fridays, and they always come along with their support staff to help ensure jobs are completed safely and professionally.

The work experience is offered for a donation, whatever feels right to you, so please do not let cost hold you back from reaching out.

We would especially love to help our elderly neighbours or anyone doing it a bit tough at the moment. If keeping on top of the yard has become a struggle, this is exactly the kind of thing we are hoping to do.

If you have jobs around your place that could use a hand, mowing, weeding, mulching, hedge trimming, green waste clean ups, or general yard maintenance, we would love to hear from you.

Every bit of real work experience makes a genuine difference to these two, building their skills, their independence and their confidence.
