🥹🏅 What an incredible honour.
This evening, Pharmacist Alex A1 👨⚕️💊 was awarded the 2026 PSA Victorian Pharmacist Medal 👏🏆
The award recognises excellence in pharmacy practice and celebrates pharmacists making a difference at the grassroots level. It acknowledges the critical role pharmacists play as experts in medicines; wherever medicines are prescribed 💊, dispensed 📦, administered 💉, or reviewed 📋 … ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and high-quality care. 💜👨⚕️.
To be recognised by the Victorian branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia 🇦🇺💜, the peak body representing pharmacists across ALL areas of practice, is both humbling and deeply appreciated.
From a small rural pharmacy in Ouyen 🌾🏡 to a stage in Melbourne 🌃🏆, this recognition is proof that rural healthcare can lead the way. Being rural doesn’t hold us back… it challenges us to think bigger 💡, innovate more 🚀, and continue finding new ways to improve healthcare access and outcomes for our community 🚜🌾🐑💜.
While the medal may have one name on it, it reflects the support of an incredible team 👏, healthcare colleagues 🤝, family and friends 💜, and a community that continues to place its trust in us every day.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey 🙏😊.
