And these aren’t your ordinary Christmas family photos… this year we’re bringing together beautiful festive photos, Highland cow cuddles, decorated pony manes, clucky little friends and plenty of farmyard Christmas magic! ❤️🎄

Our Christmas Minis at Little Farm Plays are designed to be an experience as much as a photoshoot. Slow down, spend time with the animals, let the little ones explore and have those beautiful, natural family moments captured along the way.

🎂🐴 What if their next birthday came with ponies, fluffy cows and a whole lot of farmyard fun?

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting a gorgeous 3rd birthday celebration at Little Farm Plays, and this is exactly the kind of day we love creating. 💛

The birthday girl started her special day brushing our beautiful Highland cow, Winnie, before her little guests joined the adventure — taking ponies for walks, brushing our Highland cows together, meeting our animals and sharing plenty of giggles along the way. 🐮🐴

No rushed party room. No sitting around wondering what to do next.

Just fresh air, curious little hands, friendly animals and a farm full of experiences for children to enjoy together. 🌿✨

And when the adventures were over? A few very special group photos with our farm friends to remember the day. 📸

🌾 What will they remember from their day at Little Farm Plays?

Maybe it’ll be the moment they carefully held out a treat and a big horse leaned in to say hello. 🐴

Maybe it’ll be discovering that eggs don’t just come in one colour — and proudly choosing their favourite from our beautiful rainbow eggs. 🥚🌈

Or perhaps it’ll be brushing one of our fluffy Highland cows, decorating a tiny pony until they’re looking very fancy, or discovering that a chicken is perfectly happy to become a shoulder buddy. 🐔

That’s the thing about a visit to Little Farm Plays — you never quite know which moment will become the story they tell everyone afterwards. 💛

Our sessions give children the chance to get involved in real, hands-on farm experiences, including:

🐴 Ever wondered what a day at Little Farm Plays looks like through a child’s eyes?

First, there’s a pony waiting for you to take the lead.
Then someone discovers the chickens… and suddenly, there’s a new feathered best friend. 🐔

A few steps later, it’s time to search the nesting boxes for colourful rainbow eggs. 🥚🌈

Then come the sheep, eagerly waiting for little hands to scoop and pour their feed. And perhaps one of the most memorable farm experiences of all — getting up close to one of our gentle cows and having a go at milking a cow. 🐄🥛

At Little Farm Plays, children don’t simply come to see the animals. They get to experience farm life alongside them. 🌿

During our sessions, children can enjoy hands-on activities like:

🐴 Lead and walk our ponies
🐔 Meet, cuddle and feed the chickens
🥚 Hunt for and collect fresh rainbow eggs
🐑 Scoop, pour and help feed the sheep
🐄 Meet our gentle cows and try their hand at milking a cow
🌱 Explore the farm and learn through real experiences

One child might leave talking about the pony they walked. Another might proudly tell everyone about the egg they found. And someone else might spend the journey home explaining that they milked a cow today! 💛

Hello humans.

We've noticed many of you visit Little Farm Plays for the ponies, Highland cows and sheep...

Rude.

We'd just like to remind everyone that we're also very cute, highly professional, and available for cuddles (when we're in the mood). 🐔✨

Our daily duties include:
🌽 Looking for snacks all the time.
👀 Judging every human that walks past.
💛 Accepting cuddles... on our terms.
🏃 Randomly sprinting for absolutely no reason.
🧠 Forgetting what we were doing five seconds ago.
🥚 And laying colourful yummy eggs.

If you'd like to meet us in person, we'll happily inspect your shoes, supervise your farm adventure, and maybe... just maybe... choose you as our favourite human.

🌿 Nature-Based Playgroups are back... and so are Wednesdays! 💚🐴

Looking for something your little one will genuinely get excited about each week?

Imagine them giggling as they feed friendly farm animals, proudly leading a pony, discovering nature's little treasures, making new friends, and coming home with muddy boots, rosy cheeks, and stories they can't wait to tell. 🐑🍃✨

That's what our Nature-Based Playgroups are all about.

Created especially for children aged 1–5 years, every session is filled with hands-on farm adventures, animal interactions, outdoor exploration, sensory play, and child-led learning—all in a relaxed, welcoming environment where little imaginations can run wild.

✨ And by popular demand... Wednesdays are back!

We're so excited to welcome families for Term 3 & Term 4, with playgroups now running on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Whether you're joining us for the very first time or returning for another term of farm adventures, we can't wait to see your little explorers back on the farm. 💛
