City of Palmerston launched the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower yesterday and we were proud to be involved in the initiative - making the invisible, visible.

Disabilities are not always obvious. The sunflower represents that a person may need a little more help or understanding without the need to explain. So look out for the sunflower lanyards & pins when you're out in the community.

On Tuesday, our CEO Niki Lehmann joined a Q&A panel at the NDS NT Conference, discussing Thriving Kids.

Alongside Trish Wachtel from Early Childhood Australia and Sarah Rheinberger from Early Childhood Alliance, they shared perspectives on the importance of early support for children and families, and how we can work together to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you to NDS NT for bringing together such an important conversation about the future of early childhood support in the Northern Territory.

Playgroup NT is running a PlayConnect group where families can come together, connect with others, and share experiences in a relaxed and welcoming space.

It's a great chance to have a chat with other parents and carers, pick up tips from facilitators and other families, and learn about supports and services available in the community.
