Have you heard of the lighthouse theory? It goes like this: you don’t need to chase people or change yourself to be seen or valued. Don’t try to prove your worth to anyone. Instead stand tall and proud. Be authentic and true to yourself. Let your light shine, and keep shining even as the storms and waves of life come crashing down. Let your light be a beacon in the dark.

I’m a firm believer that those who resonate with you will be attracted, in contrast those who find your light irritating can steer away and avoid you.

What a great metaphor to stay in your power, authentic and true to yourself.
