Ever wondered what that "gritty" or "crunchy" sound is during your session? That’s the sound of your muscle and fascia telling a story.

In this clip, our patient couldn’t feel the restriction, but the IASTM tool picked it up instantly. That "graininess" is actually a build-up of old scar tissue and fascial adhesions. 🛠️

When we push our limits but neglect the downtime, our tissues can’t repair smoothly. Over time, they become "glued" together, leading to that signature grittiness, stiffness, and eventually, a higher risk of injury.

IASTM helps us "scan" and break down those stuck layers, but the real magic happens when you change your habits outside the clinic. As Syahmi mentions in the video, this buildup is often a sign that your training is out-pacing your recovery.

The Golden Rule: Recovery isn't "time off", it's a vital part of your training routine.

Not sure how to balance your training with the right recovery? We’ve got you. Tap the link in our bio to book a session and let’s get you moving (and sounding) smooth again. 📍🦾

Meet the "Stainless Steel" secret to recovery: IASTM. 🛠️✨

Ever wonder what those smooth, stainless steel tools in the clinic are for? That’s IASTM—or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization—and it’s one of the most effective ways we treat stubborn muscle and fascia issues.

IASTM is a specialized myofascial treatment. Instead of just using our hands, we use ergonomically designed medical-grade tools to "scan" and treat your soft tissue. These tools allow us to feel and target areas of restriction with much more precision than fingers alone.

When we train hard but neglect our recovery, the fascia can become "glued" together, creating these fascial restrictions that limit your movement and cause chronic stiffness. We use IASTM to specifically target these areas, physically breaking down that old tissue to help your muscles "glide" again.

IASTM is a game-changer for:
✅ Plantar Fasciitis
✅ Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow
✅ Chronic Neck & Shoulder tension
✅ Post-surgical scar tissue
…and more!

If your muscles are feeling a little stubborn and stiff, let’s get them moving again. Link in bio to book!

Stepping into a clinic for the first time can feel a little daunting, especially if you’ve been in pain for a while. At Kiro Health, we’re not about "in-and-out" appointments. Your first visit is all about clarity, strategy, and relief.

Our goal is to ensure you leave with a clear understanding of your body and a path toward lasting improvement. No guesswork, just results. 🦾

Think a Chiro session is just about adjustments? Think again.

While a precise adjustment is a powerful tool for restoring joint mobility, it’s often just one piece of the puzzle. At Kiro Health, we don't just treat the joint—we treat the person.

We know that true recovery happens when we address the nervous system, the muscles, and the way you move. That’s why our "toolbox" is deep, and our commitment to your progress is even deeper.

Our integrated approach means your session might include:

• Chiropractic Adjustments: To reset joint function and alignment.
• Deep Tissue Massage & IASTM: To break down scar tissue and smooth out fascial restrictions.
• Dry Needling & Cupping: To "reboot" stubborn muscle knots and increase local blood flow.
• Rehabilitative Exercise: To build the strength and stability needed to keep the pain from coming back.

It’s not just about the "pop"—it’s about a comprehensive path to lasting health. 🦾🌿

Movement is Medicine. 🌿

A session in the clinic sets the foundation, but the real transformation happens during the hours you’re out living your life. Your daily habits are where the true healing takes hold.

Think of your rehab not as "homework," but as the daily dose of medicine your body needs to stay resilient.

With the Easter long weekend here, it’s the perfect time to sneak in those "doses":
✅ Do your reps while the kettle boils for that morning cuppa. ☕
✅ Sneak in a stretch while the kids are on their egg hunt. 🐣
✅ Take 5 minutes to mobilise before the family lunch kicks off. 🍽️

Movement is the best way to "fill your cup" so you can keep pouring into those around you. Small wins lead to big changes.
