Today is World Mental Health Day 💚

How are you feeling? It’s a simple question, but one we don’t always take the time to ask ourselves.

Make time to check in with yourself and someone you care about. You don’t need the perfect words to start a conversation.

If you’re finding things difficult, reach out to someone you trust or speak with a health professional. You don’t have to work through it alone.

Eligibility for free COVID-19 vaccines has changed.

From 1 October 2026, COVID-19 vaccines are funded through the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for:

• Adults aged 75 and over: two doses a year, around six months apart
• Adults aged 65–74: one dose a year
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50–74: one dose a year
• Adults aged 18–64 with severe immunocompromise: one dose a year

You must also hold, or be eligible for, a Medicare card.

If you’re not eligible for a free vaccine, vaccination may still be available privately at a cost.

Unsure what this means for you? Speak with your Complete Care pharmacist about your eligibility and whether you’re due for a vaccination.

It’s often joked that Brett is part of the furniture around here, but in all seriousness, 18 years of dedication and commitment is an incredible achievement. Over the years, he has become such an important part of the pharmacy, our team and the community we serve.
