Zachary’s NRLW time is all about doing what he loves, with the right support beside him 🏉
Because great in-home support isn’t about filling time, it’s about choice, connection, engagement and making more room for joy. ✨🏡
Supporting goals can look a little different for everyone… sometimes, it looks exactly like this 😄

Sarah from our St Clair SIL has been working towards her goal of building greater independence and confidence in the kitchen — and tonight, she’s putting those skills into practice! 👩‍🍳✨

As part of her weekly routine, Sarah plans, prepares and creates a special dessert for her family. It’s something she genuinely looks forward to — not only because she loves cooking, but because she gets to treat her family, share something she’s created and proudly show off her cooking skills! 🥰

These everyday moments are an important part of Sarah’s NDIS goals, supporting her to develop:
✨ Independent living skills
✨ Meal planning and preparation
✨ Confidence and decision-making
✨ Household and kitchen skills
✨ Community and family participation
✨ Building confidence through meaningful routines

Most importantly, Sarah is developing skills that have a real purpose in her everyday life — and getting to share the results with the people she loves most. ❤️

We’re so proud of you, Sarah! 👏🏼👩‍🍳

Four years. One life-changing outcome. ❤️

Today, Sarah entered her brand-new home. Her bedroom. Her kitchen. Her space. A place she can finally call her own. 🏡✨

But this moment didn’t happen overnight.

For four years, Sarah’s Support Coordinator, Erica, continued advocating alongside Sarah and her family — gathering new assessments, providing evidence, responding to changing requirements, challenging decisions and navigating the NDIS process.

It even led to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

And they kept going.

Because sometimes, getting the right support isn’t about giving up when the first answer is “no”.

It’s about having someone who understands the system, knows how to build the evidence, keeps advocating and walks beside you until every possible pathway has been explored.

The right support can change what feels impossible into what’s possible.

Sarah’s story is a reminder of why Support Coordination matters. 💙

If you or your family are struggling to navigate the NDIS or access the supports you need, we’d love to help you explore what may be possible.

🎲🏆 Happy Birthday, Shane! 🏆🎲

What a fantastic birthday celebration filled with games and plenty of fun! ❤️

Shane’s home was beautifully decorated by his housemate and support team, creating the perfect setting for a very special day.

And of course… every Board Game Boss needs a trophy! 🏆🎲

It looks like Shane had an absolute ball celebrating with his friends and team. 💙

We’re incredibly proud of our very own Lei,owner of Lei Tagala and one of our wonderfully talented team members, who is donating some of her delicious treats to support this very worthy cause! 🧁🍪🍫🧀

Those of us in the ADSR office already know just how lucky we are to regularly be spoilt by Lei’s amazing baking — and trust us, her treats never last long! 😍 Now, she’s sharing her talent with the wider community to help raise funds for Jeans for Genes.

Every purchase will help fund vital research aimed at improving treatments and finding cures for children living with genetic diseases. 💙

So come down, show your support, and treat yourself to some of Lei’s famous goodies! You’ll be able to choose from:

🍰 Cakes
🍪 Cookies
🍫 Brownies

At ADSR, we love seeing the people we support enjoy the best of both worlds—being part of a community while also having opportunities to explore their own interests and enjoy time independently.

Shane is a valued member of our Claremont Meadows Supported Independent Living home and our CONNECT Day Program. He enjoys the friendships, connection and shared experiences that come with group supports, but recently had the opportunity to enjoy a break away and spend some quality time doing activities of his own choosing.

Having that balance is so important. While group supports provide opportunities to connect, build relationships and be part of a community, individual experiences give people the freedom to make their own choices, explore personal interests and enjoy time in a way that feels meaningful to them.

For Shane, this experience was about more than just having a break—it was an opportunity to build independence, exercise choice and control, and work towards his individual NDIS goals.

Because a meaningful life is not about doing the same things as everyone else. It is about having the freedom, opportunities and support to choose what works for you. 💙

One beautiful photo that captures so much more than a moment 🤍

Our end-of-month BBQs are always filled with fun, energy and connection. It’s a time when people from across all of our services: Day Programs, Community Access,SIL,STR and In-Home Support, come together to share a meal, enjoy a movie, play on the sports court, reset in the sensory room, make music and reconnect with friends.

The community we’ve built is something truly special — a place where people belong, relationships grow and everyone is welcomed exactly as they are. 🫶

FAREWELL CHRIS ❤️
On Friday, Chris worked his final shift as our CONNECT Team Leader. Tomorrow will be the first time in four years that CONNECT opens without him leading the way.

Chris has created what we believe is not only the best Day Program in our area, but one of the best in the country — a place where people truly belong, where skills continue to grow, and where people love coming to work. His legacy will live on long after he clocked out, and he will be deeply missed.

As we say goodbye to Chris, we are also excited to welcome one of our longest-standing CONNECT team members, Emily, as she steps into the Team Leader role. 💙

Thank you, Chris, for everything you have built. We can’t wait to see Emily continue the incredible legacy you leave behind.
