What does it mean to “just be me”?

reminds us that divine love is not passive. It is the quiet strength that restores truth, gives us courage, and brings peace to our hearts.

To just be me means having the courage to live truthfully, stay anchored in our purpose, and trust God to guide our steps.

It means not losing ourselves trying to please others or live according to their expectations. Instead, we can choose to let love guide our actions, stand firm in our values, and remain open to learning and growing.

We may not always know the way forward, but we don’t have to have all the answers. We can trust God to strengthen us through life’s challenges and lead us in the direction we need to go.

Maybe being ourselves is simply learning to walk in faith, allowing God’s love to shape who we are becoming, one step at a time. 🌿

What does it mean to “just be me”?

Perhaps it means learning to accept who we are, while remaining open to growth. It means allowing our truth to shine, following our heart with wisdom, and respecting that others have their own path to follow.

We are more than our achievements, our work, or the goals we reach. We are here to love, create, learn and bring healing into our lives and the lives of others.

Being ourselves doesn’t mean we have all the answers. It means having the courage to live with honesty, to acknowledge our imperfections, and to keep growing in love.

Heart Angel Hahahel reminds us that each of us has a unique path. We don’t need to imitate others or control their choices. We can simply strive to become the person God created us to be.

Maybe this is what it means to “just be me”— to live with an open heart, seek truth with humility, and allow God’s love to shape who I am becoming.

✨ Guardian Angel — Seek Truth with Humility

Truth should not be reshaped to suit our beliefs or the narrative of the day. Wisdom begins when we are willing to examine our own hearts before trying to influence others.

A healthy society needs people who are prepared to ask difficult questions and accept the answers, even when they are uncomfortable. Acknowledging past mistakes and putting things right takes courage. Hiding mistakes or rewriting history does not change the truth.

Honouring yourself is not about pride or seeking recognition. It is about living with integrity, embracing the person God created you to be, and allowing that inner truth to guide your words and actions.

As we grow in self-awareness and deepen our relationship with God, we can become more authentic, compassionate, and respectful of others. Rather than imposing our ideas or twisting the truth to fit current norms, we can choose honesty, discernment, and love.

🌿We are encouraged to seek truth, and to have the courage to acknowledge our mistakes, and the wisdom to honour one another while reflecting God’s light in all we do.

Respecting the Past

I’ve been thinking about what inclusiveness really means in film.

I believe people from different backgrounds should have opportunities to tell their stories and see their cultures represented. But inclusion should not require us to rewrite the history of someone else’s story.

When a film is based on a particular historical period, changing the people and cultural setting can sometimes blur our understanding of what actually happened. There is a difference between reimagining a story and presenting a version of the past that may leave viewers believing it was historically accurate.

Perhaps genuine inclusion is not about changing every existing story to fit the present.

Perhaps it is about telling more stories — stories from Indigenous peoples, different cultures and communities whose histories deserve to be heard in their own right.

We can embrace new perspectives while still respecting the people, cultures and histories that came before us.

Respecting the past does not mean being trapped by it. It means learning from it without rewriting it.

Rehael encourages us to honour the past and learn from it, without allowing it to define us. We can respect what came before while continuing to grow, bringing the wisdom of the past into the present.

Remembering requires honesty.

On 7 October 2023, Jewish people were massacred in Israel. Lives were taken, families were shattered, and many individuals were left carrying unimaginable grief and trauma.

We remember.

We remember the lives that were lost.
We remember the families and communities affected.
We remember because forgetting does not bring healing, and rewriting history does not bring peace.

Remembering is not about holding onto hatred. It is about refusing to allow truth to disappear.

We also acknowledge the suffering of others without diminishing anyone else’s humanity. We condemn violence without hatred, seek justice without revenge, and remember with compassion.

Rehael represents compassion and the spreading of divine love. Divine love invites us to look at the past honestly and with mercy: to learn from what has happened and choose a better way forward.

Mary Magdalene’s message was not simply words; it was an act of love and hope. As one of the first witnesses to the risen Christ, she carried the message of His Resurrection to the Apostles, sharing the good news that Christ had overcome death.

Rehael reminds us that truth and divine love can walk together.

We can remember without hatred.
We can forgive without forgetting.
We can seek peace without abandoning truth.

Remember — so that it does not happen again.

Sometimes, things are not quite what they appear to be.

For years, I have been challenged by people more cynical than me with one question:

Are we really free?

I used to think the answer was obvious.

We live in a democracy. We can speak, vote, question, disagree and make our own choices.

But lately, I’ve started to wonder.

Not because I want to be cynical or fearful, but because some of what I see happening around us has made me pause and question what I once took for granted.

We are told we are free.

But what does freedom actually mean?

Are we free to question?
Are we free to disagree?
Are we free to challenge ideas without being dismissed or labelled?

Perhaps the illusion isn’t that everything is false.

Perhaps it is simply that we can become so accustomed to what we are told that we stop looking closely.

The ancient Greeks understood that democracy involved debate, disagreement and challenging those in power—even though their society was far from equal by today’s standards.

So I find myself asking:

Have we forgotten what freedom really means?

I don’t have the answer.

I’m simply asking the question.

What does freedom mean to you?

The energy of reminds us to recognise our potential and encourages us to live with integrity, help others, remain present in the moment and promote peace.

From a Christian perspective, surrendering our personal will to Divine will is not about losing ourselves. It is about bringing our inner life and outward actions into harmony with God’s will — seeking to live what we believe.

When external conflicts disturb our inner peace, Menadel can be a reminder to pause, reflect and seek wisdom before responding. This helps us remain connected to our purpose while making a positive difference in the lives of others.

True inner and outer work is about integrity : honouring our values consistently, even when doing so is uncomfortable.

For me, this captures the heart of Menadel: to live with integrity, serve others, seek peace and walk humbly with God. ✨

Childhood Stories and Mystery

Looking back at childhood, it is interesting to see how much the stories we love can shape the way we see the world.

Greek myths, legendary heroes, King Arthur, Camelot, and stories of courage and sacrifice can capture a child’s imagination. At the time, they are simply wonderful stories—full of adventure, romance, courage and the willingness to stand for something greater than oneself.

But perhaps there is something more happening beneath the surface.

Through the eyes of a child, these stories can open a doorway to something that cannot yet be named—a sense of mystery, wonder, and the possibility that life may be more than what we see in the everyday world.

Sometimes the stories we encounter as children stay with us for reasons we only understand much later.
