Last Thursday, our team had the privilege of attending Black Coffee in Boorloo.

Black Coffee is one of those events that leaves you feeling inspired and genuinely grateful to be in a room full of passionate, driven people who are making a difference in their communities and industries. It's incredibly powerful to connect with like-minded people and be able to have a safe place to share stories and learn from one another.

🌏💙 Some days at work remind you why you do what you do.

This week we have been in Queensland ✈️

Our Djinda Health team had the privilege of supporting the newest intake of the Pacific Police Support Group (PPSG) by conducting medical assessments for police officers representing 16 Pacific nations.

This is our fourth time in Queensland to support the AFP with this program. As healthcare professionals, we often meet people at the beginning of their important journeys. This was one of those moments.

Witnessing the warmth, pride and cultural significance of the welcome ceremonies was incredibly moving. The sharing of culture, respect for tradition and strong sense of unity amongst the officers was a powerful reminder that while we may come from different places, we are connected through service, community and a shared purpose.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity, it was an honour to meet so many inspiring individuals who have committed their lives to serving and protecting their communities across the Pacific.

To all participants and trainers, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We wish you every success as you embark on this next chapter and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make in your countries and communities.

Together, we are stronger when we learn from one another, support one another and walk forward with respect and understanding.
