We're excited to be exhibiting at the Spectrum Space Symposium 2026.

Over two days, the team from Kites Therapy, alongside our sister brand Guide Dogs WA, will be connecting with attendees, sharing information about our services and showcasing how we support children and young people to live with greater independence, confidence and inclusion.

If you’re newly out of school and keen to meet people in the same stage of life, this one’s for you!

Our Meet A Friend Socially (MAFS) group is heading out for dinner at Good Company on Wednesday 21 May 🍔

MAFS is a small, relaxed catch‑up for VisAbility and Kites young adults aged 17–19 who are transitioning from school into work, TAFE or uni. It’s about building real connections, sharing a few laughs, and gaining confidence in everyday things like ordering a meal, managing money, and getting around.

The group is supported by our Speech Therapists and designed to feel easygoing and welcoming - just good food, good company, and the chance to make lasting friendships.

MAFS Meet Up – May Edition

Looking to get out, meet new people, and try something fun? Our monthly MAFS (Meeting a Friend Socially) catch-up is back!

Join Speech Pathologists, Alex and Emily, for an evening at Holey Moley Karrinyup, followed by dinner at Grill’d. 🍔⛳

It’s a relaxed social night designed for school leavers and young people from Kites and VisAbility who are at a similar stage in life and keen to make new connections.

Kites Children's Therapy, in partnership with VisAbility, is welcoming children back to our Social Builders Group Program this April school holidays!

Over four structured sessions, children work together on guided LEGO® activities designed to support social learning in a practical and engaging way.

With guidance from our therapy team, participants practise skills such as listening to others, taking turns, sharing ideas, and working toward a shared outcome. Sessions are supportive and paced to help every child feel comfortable participating.

Dates: Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, Tuesday 14, and Wednesday 15 April 2026
Time: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Social Builders Group Therapy is back for the April school holidays! 🤩

Designed for children aged 6-10 years old, our Social Builders Group brings kids together over four engaging sessions to build, problem-solve, and connect through guided LEGO® projects.

Led by our experienced therapy team, children are supported to practice key social skills like turn-taking, sharing ideas, and working towards a common goal - all within a safe and encouraging group setting.

This group supports children to:
⭐ Develop friendships and teamwork
⭐ Strengthen communication and problem-solving
⭐ Build confidence while working alongside peers

Dates: Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, Tuesday 14 & Wednesday 15 April 2026
