Today I advertised my services and received a communication about why I should help people who are drug and alcohol addicts?
In my experience, drug and alcohol usage is a learnt behaviour or a consequence of severe childhood trauma.
At the end of the day, these people are human, just like you and me.
They have a Dad, they have a Mum, they are a Son, they are a Daughter.
I have worked with drug and alcohol addicts, and they are some of the most sensitive souls I have ever known, they feel everything so deeply.
And sometimes, it is easier to numb the pain instead of facing it and healing this aspect of themselves.
Drug and alcohol addicts have taught me many virtues, such as empathy, compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love.
I am not excusing them for their behaviour, but rather I am able to see from a higher perspective why they became addicts in the first place.
This is one of the reasons I have chosen to be an intuitive energy healer, I am here to offer them support and assistance with their own personal healing journey.
