We're proud to celebrate one of our Speech Pathologists, Matthew Cirocco, who has co-authored a newly published paper led by Noongar Elder and Researcher Brenda Larsen.
Pictured (left to right): Associate Professor Britta Biedermann, Brenda Larsen, and Matthew Cirocco.
The research focused on co-designing Noongar language and speech sound resources with Elders, educators, clinicians and students.
Why is this exciting? Because research like this helps shape more culturally responsive speech pathology practices and supports more inclusive and equitable outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
We're proud to see Matthew contributing to this important work and look forward to learning from and using these resources in practice.
Congratulations to the entire research team!
