When people say…
🙀You’re aging backwards
🙀You look so young
🙀You can’t be a grandma
…one starts getting curious and searching for answers. 🔍✨
Because honestly, at 59, I’m not interested in pretending I can stop the clock.
But I am fascinated by how much influence we can have over how well we age.
Over the years, I’ve learned that ageing isn’t just about the number of birthdays we’ve had. The way we age is influenced by things such as inflammation, oxidative stress, blood sugar regulation, mitochondrial health, sleep, stress, sun exposure, nutrition and how effectively our bodies maintain and repair tissues such as collagen.
So what you see here is the result of years of experimenting, learning and, yes… a little bit of biohacking. 🧬✨
No Botox.
No fillers.
No skin treatments.
Just a commitment to creating the healthiest possible environment for my body and skin to thrive.
For me, it has been surprisingly simple:
✨ Eating enough quality protein and nutrients
✨ Managing chronic stress
✨ Supporting metabolic health and stable blood sugar
✨ Moving my body regularly
✨ Maintaining and building muscle
✨ Prioritising quality sleep
✨ Protecting my skin from excessive sun exposure
None of these are glamorous “anti-ageing hacks”.
There’s no magic potion. No miracle cream. No secret fountain of youth hiding behind a paywall. 😉
But consistently giving your body what it needs, year after year, can make a difference.
We can’t stop chronological ageing. And personally, I wouldn’t want to.
Every year has taught me something, shaped me and made me stronger.
Maybe the goal isn’t to stay young forever.
Maybe the real goal is to create a body that is strong, healthy and capable enough to keep participating fully in your own life as the years roll on. 💪❤️
And the beautiful thing?
It’s never too late to start.
Your body is listening to what you do today. 🥰
