It’s the season…….
Changing from warm to cooler seasons means eating cyclical just as we are meant to… no more raw foods, time to work on the immune system and get ready for winter.
Below is just by sight- I don’t do recipes as such so amounts will depend on your tastes.
Low and chicken soup;
🍗
TURMERIC
GINGER
GARLIC
CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS- can use whole chicken too
CELERY- *not low Fodmap
ZUCCHINI
PARSNIP
SWEET POTATO
BROCCOLI STALK
CARROT
LEMON ZEST
Cut/grate all veges, pop in a pot and let tick over for a few hours with the chicken. Remove chicken and shred to pop back into the soup. Add frozen peas, herbs and serve.
** I just used filter water, 1/4C ACV, bay leaf, white pepper corns, Celtic salt and nigella seeds in my broth base and let the chicken and veges impart the flavour.
