A rock-solid er****on that won’t go away might sound like a fantasy to some men, but it’s not a bonus, it’s a medical condition called priapism, and it can cause serious long-term damage to your p***s tissue.

This is different to a semi-er****on hanging around for a couple of hours, which is actually not a problem. If your er****on is fully rigid and painful for two hours or more, that’s when you need to take action. The longer it continues, the greater the risk of permanent damage to the smooth muscle inside the p***s, which can mean long-term erectile dysfunction.

I’ve just uploaded a YouTube video walking through exactly what priapism is, the step-by-step rescue plan if it happens to you, and the hard line for when you need to get to an emergency department.

One of the biggest myths I hear is that a p***s has to be perfectly straight to be “normal”.

The truth is, many men naturally have some degree of curvature, and if it’s always been that way, isn’t painful, and isn’t affecting your s*x life, it’s usually just part of your normal anatomy.

What I do want men to pay attention to is a curve that’s new, getting worse, painful, or making s*x difficult. Those changes could be a sign of Peyronie’s disease, and the earlier you get it assessed, the more options you may have.

I’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video explaining the signs of Peyronie’s disease, what not to do, and when to seek help.

One of the biggest mistakes I see with p***s pumps is men trying to pump as hard and as fast as possible.

A Vacuum Er****on Device (VED) isn’t a race. The best results come from slow, controlled suction. Pump a little, pause, let the p***s respond, then pump again. More pressure doesn’t create a better er****on, it simply increases the risk of pain, bruising and swelling.

Whether you’re using a VED for erectile dysfunction or pe**le rehabilitation, technique really matters.

I’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video explaining how often to use a VED, how long a session should take, and the common mistakes to avoid.

You may have heard the news of Jeremy Clarkson’s prostate cancer diagnosis and his powerful message urging men to get checked.

First, thank you for sharing your story so openly. Conversations like this save lives.

One of the biggest barriers to prostate cancer testing has always been fear, fear of the examination, fear of treatment, and fear of the unknown. The good news is that many of those fears are based on outdated information.

A PSA blood test is often the first step, and treatment does not automatically mean lifelong incontinence or erectile dysfunction. Like any health challenge, recovery and rehabilitation matter, and help is available.

My message is simple: if you’re a man, talk to your GP about your prostate health. If you’re a partner, encourage the men you love to get checked. As Jeremy said, please, please, please go and get checked.

The moment I mention pe**le injections, most men look absolutely terrified.

I completely understand, but what surprises most men is how little it actually hurts. It’s a tiny needle, and with the right technique, most people quickly gain the confidence to do it themselves at home.

When appropriate, pe**le injections can be a highly effective treatment for erectile dysfunction and can help restore confidence and intimacy.

I’ve just uploaded a recent YouTube video where I walk you through the process step by step. Head to the link in my bio to watch the full tutorial.

I often hear men use the terms p***s pump and VED as though they mean exactly the same thing. While they work on a similar principle, there are some important differences that every man should understand before buying one.

For some men, a VED is part of an erectile dysfunction treatment plan. For others, it’s used as part of pe**le rehabilitation after prostate cancer treatment or pelvic surgery. The right device and technique depend on your goal.

One thing I always encourage men to be cautious about is claims around permanent enlargement. A pump can create temporary swelling and fullness, but temporary changes are not the same as permanent growth.

If you’re considering a pump, make sure you’re choosing a device that matches your needs and comes with appropriate safety features, instructions and support.

You can explore our range of clinically selected & tested pumps at rshealth.com.au/shop, and watch my full YouTube video for a detailed explanation of the differences between p***s pumps and medical VEDs. Link is in my bio.

What a fantastic day we had at the GP Urology Masterclass 2026 on Saturday!

I was honoured to join Dr Jeff Thavaseelan and Dr Shane La Bianca on the panel discussing “Functional Outcomes Post Prostate Cancer Therapy: How to Close the Gap”. It was a valuable opportunity to explore how better collaboration and communication between specialties, including urology, s*xology and pelvic health physiotherapy, can help improve patient outcomes after prostate cancer treatment.

It was also wonderful to have almost the entire Restorative Health Clinic team there for the day. A special shoutout to Seth and Laura for expertly manning the “toys” table and providing demonstrations and education throughout the event.

One of the highlights was seeing everyone’s excitement over our Geoffrey the P***s pins, they were certainly a crowd favourite.

A huge thank you to Perth Urology Clinic for hosting another outstanding event. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect, collaborate and learn alongside so many passionate healthcare professionals.

Already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Vacuum Er****on Devices (VEDs) can play an important role in pe**le rehabilitation, especially after prostate cancer treatment, pelvic surgery, or a period of erectile dysfunction. When natural er****ons aren’t happening regularly, the pe**le tissue misses out on the blood flow and gentle stretching that help keep it healthy. Over time, this can affect er****on quality, elasticity and even pe**le length.

Used correctly, a VED can help encourage blood flow, support tissue health and keep the p***s responsive while recovery is taking place.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is men using their SOMA VED incorrectly, often pumping too hard, too fast, or using the wrong technique for their goals.

If you have a SOMA VED, or you’re considering one, I’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video showing exactly how to use it safely and effectively for both pe**le rehabilitation and in*******se.

What an incredible day at the 2026 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Perth yesterday. The weather was absolutely amazing and the energy from everyone involved was something special.

A huge effort from the 643 riders who together raised over $106,000, such an incredible result for an important cause. There’s still time to donate, the link is in my bio.

Big thanks to Micky Blueyes and Dazza for having me and my friend along for the day. I was so chuffed to be asked to say a few words at the end alongside Dr Matt Brown and Kieran from

We also heard from Craig who spoke openly about mental health, and a beautiful family, Kerry, Matt and little Tom, who absolutely stole the show sharing their lived experience of life after prostate cancer. Moments like that really stay with you. Proud to have been part of such a meaningful day.
