10 DAYS IN. 50KM DOWN. 10KG ON MY BACK. AND A REASON BIGGER THAN MYSELF. 🖤💚
Today is World Mental Health Day, and I’m proud to take part in the Lift the Load Challenge for the 5th consecutive year, supporting the Top Blokes Foundation and men’s mental health.
The official challenge is to walk 50km throughout October. This year, I’m walking 5km every day while wearing a 10kg weighted vest: 155km across the month. Ten days in, I’ve already completed 50km.
I keep taking on a bigger challenge each year because the message matters: the weight we carry isn’t always visible. Many men carry pressure, expectations and struggles in silence, believing that asking for help is weakness.
But strength can mean saying, “I’m struggling,” and allowing others to walk alongside us. Through my work in breathwork and men’s wellbeing, I’ve seen how powerful presence, connection and honest conversation can be.
🚶♂️ COME WALK & TALK WITH ME
Join me for my final two Sunday walks:
📍 The Wellness Store, Mandurah
📅 Sunday 18 & Sunday 25 October
⏰ 8:30am
Walk, talk, listen or simply connect. Everyone is welcome, and weighted vests will be available for anyone who wants to experience part of the challenge.
💚 YOUR SUPPORT CAN GO TWICE AS FAR
For World Mental Health Day, donations to the Lift the Load Challenge are being doubled for 48 hours, with up to $40,000 in matching funds available.
A $20 donation becomes $40, and a $50 donation becomes $100, while matching funds remain available.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, donated or walked alongside me. The vest may be mine to wear, but creating change is something we can all carry together.
I can’t carry the weight of the world, but I can choose not to look away from those carrying theirs.
Robbie 🖤💚
