Sometimes the biggest feelings are the hardest to spot 🥷🔎

Today in speech therapy, we became emotion detectives — using a ninja magnifying glass to hunt for clues about feelings, facial expressions, body language and perspectives.

The power of support 🤍

Progress in communication isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s a sound that finally comes out clearly.
A word that’s been practised over and over.
A child finding the courage to try, even when it’s hard.

Behind every small step is support and celebrating the effort just as much as the outcome.

In speech therapy, we’re not just building skills —
we’re building confidence, connection, and a belief that “I can do this.”

Because when someone feels supported,
they’re far more willing to keep trying… and that’s where real progress begins.

Keeping simple, predictable routines can help:
• same mealtimes
• familiar activities
• clear beginnings and endings

When routines are in place, children feel safer — and when children feel safe, communication is more likely to happen 💛
