A Support Worker can be the person who…

🌙 Starts their shift before the rest of the world is awake.
☕ Makes the morning cuppa exactly how someone likes it.
🚗 Helps someone get to work, an appointment or out into their community.
🍳 Supports someone to cook their favourite meal.
💬 Listens when someone needs to talk.
👏 Encourages the next step when something feels difficult.
😂 Shares the laughs, jokes and everyday moments.
💙 And sometimes, simply sits beside someone when that's exactly what they need.

There are so many moments in disability support that will never appear in a job description.

But those moments matter.
