Put simply, I die a little bit on the inside when I see young people taking the often dangerous and damaging advice and recommendations of celebrities, models and social media influencers. Binge eating can feel like a secretive, shameful act, but it's actually surprisingly common. Some causes for regular binge eating are having a restrictive diet, not eating enough throughout the day and poor self esteem (and that's just the tip of the iceberg).

Now that you know how to make a healthy granola, why not have a go at making your own nut milk? ⁠

I'm not here to tell you 🐄 dairy is the devil. I love a bit of full cream action in my coffee, but there are loads of girls and women (and boys and men) who don't thrive with dairy. Bloating, break outs, tummy aches and AWOL hormones are a few signs that maybe it's time to start incorporating some dairy alternatives. ⁠

While good quality nut milks are slowly making their way into supermarkets (lookin' at you ), many varieties have less than 1% nuts and like 1000% stuff that is probably doing worse things to your body than dairy would. ⁠

So, try making your own! It lasts for a few days in the fridge so while it is a pain in the butt to make, it's ideal for families who will get through it quickly, and for freezing into ice cubes for smoothies. And for people who have patience 😜 But mostly for people who are having a tricky time because of dairy.⁠
