Red Earth Health Solutions has the aim of providing a tailored single sourced Occupational Health Solutions

Established in 2010, Red Earth Health Solutions Pty Ltd began as the demand for industry experienced Occupational Health Services outgrew the consulting business of one of its Directors - Sue Steele. Jen Pearce teamed up with Sue to form Red Earth Health Solutions with the aim of providing a tailored single sourced Occupational Health solution for mining and industry based clients. With a diverse client base, there is no room for a ‘one-size-fits’ all approach. With this in mind we adhere to a truly personalised approach. REHS is heading back into the red dirt of the Goldfields for our 10th year as medical coordinators and first response support at the Kalgoorlie Desert Race—the fourth and final round of the 2026 Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship happening this weekend in Kalgoorlie!

Sue Steele is back leading the charge, bringing more than 20 years of medical leadership in the sport, backed by our dedicated team of remote area clinicians.
As competitors push themselves and their machines to the limit, our medical team is standing by—ready to respond on the ground or from the sky.

🔥 Dust, grit and full-throttle action, doing what we love—it’s what keeps us coming back!

🙌 A massive shout-out to our incredible band of volunteers who get down and dirty alongside the action. Your skills, teamwork and heart make it all possible.

10th September 2026 is R U OK? Day—This day is a gentle reminder that a genuine conversation can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

At Red Earth Health Solutions, we are committed to supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of our people, our clients and their employees.

Our philosophy aligns closely with the R U OK? ALEC Conversation Framework:

A — Ask R U OK?
Be present, choose the right moment and ask the question genuinely. Remember that not everyone you meet will share your energy and sometimes changes in behaviour or body language can tell you more than words.

L — Listen
Listen without judgement or interruption. Give the person time and space to express how they are feeling and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

E — Encourage action
Ask what might help and encourage a positive next step. This may be connecting with someone they trust, accessing workplace support or speaking with a health professional.

C — Check in
Stay engaged and follow up. A genuine conversation does not end after the first question— checking in again shows that you care.

We encourage everyone to check in with one another—not just on R U OK? Day, but every day.

Asking “R U OK?” should never be a token gesture. It means caring enough to ask, listen, encourage action and stay connected.

🎓🚑 A new chapter begins at our new home! 🚑🎓

On Monday we welcomed our newest cohort of students undertaking the HLT41120 Certificate IV in Health Care.

While this course is certainly not new to Red Earth Health Solutions (REHS), this intake marks a special milestone as it is the first course to be delivered from our new premises at Unit 17/524 Abernethy Road, Kewdale. 🏢✨

We are incredibly excited to open the doors of our new facility and introduce the next generation of emergency first responders to an environment designed to support learning, collaboration and professional growth. 🌱

Leading this journey is the much-respected Mr. Iain Hunter, whose coaching and mentoring style has become synonymous with the REHS learning experience.

Known for his dulcet training tones, dry and witty sense of humor 😄 , and his remarkable ability to bring out the very best in every student who comes into his care, Iain creates an environment where students are challenged, supported and inspired to grow in confidence and capability.

At REHS, we believe great responders are developed through more than technical skills alone. They are built through quality education, practical experience, strong mentorship and the confidence to make a difference when it matters most. 🚨

After a busy few weeks of packing, relocating and settling in, we're excited to announce that Red Earth Health Solutions (REHS) is now officially unpacked and fully operational from our new home at:

Whether you're visiting for training, clinical services or a meeting, we're looking forward to welcoming you through our doors.

✈️ The journey has begun! ✈️

The Red Earth Health Solutions (REHS) and Mining Emergency Response Competition (MERC) representatives are on their way to Balikpapan, Indonesia, to support the 2nd Indonesian Mining Emergency Response Competition (IMERC), proudly hosted by Garuda Rescue Nusantara. 🤝

🚑⛑️This year's competition will bring together more than 200 participants across 24 emergency response teams, including our Australian team members. From 6 August, these teams will showcase the exceptional skills, teamwork and professionalism required to respond to complex emergencies within the mining industry.

💡 Emergency response competitions are about far more than winning. They provide an invaluable opportunity to learn from one another, share knowledge, benchmark capability and strengthen the skills that ultimately save lives. ❤️

🎥 We're incredibly excited to witness the competition unfold and, as always, can't wait to follow the coverage—which is consistently superb—capturing the dedication, camaraderie and world-class emergency response capability on display.

👏 A huge thank you to Garuda Rescue Nusantara for hosting what promises to be another outstanding event. We look forward to catching up with old friends, making new connections, and supporting everyone involved.
