Capricorn is often labelled the hard worker, nose to the grindstone, with impeccable organisational skills. Which is true, but Capricorn brings more depth than this. Today’s Full Moon is less about achieving more and more about recognising the quiet strength within.

The saying, “it’s not all work, work, work,” feels so on point this cycle. Capricorn invites you to build a life that can hold you. A life built by steady devotion rather than strict discipline. Flow vs force. Capricorn brings out a more mature side in you, one that takes time to ponder and process before proceeding. It brings quiet integrity from within, slowly shaping your experience over time.

Today, take a moment to reflect on what you have built over the past six months. Acknowledge your progress. Sometimes you get so focused on the future and on pushing ahead that you forget to see what you have already created. Capricorn honours steady progress over dramatic transformation. It takes time to climb a mountain; stop trying to race to the top. The Full Moon is calling for you to take one step at a time. Be grounded and patient.

Notice where you have been spending your energy recently. Do these things still deserve your energy and attention? If you feel you have been investing your energy in a one-way venture, maybe this is the Full Moon that will help you release these patterns. If your energy is directed in a way that is not aligned with your heart’s deepest devotion, it is worth reconsidering. The small choices you make every day and the practices you return to all add up to your deepest growth. Capricorn is asking you to pay attention to the finer details. What do you see?

It’s connection time with today’s Super New Moon in Gemini! The sign of communication and relationships is asking for a long, hard look at what feels aligned for you. The Moon is at its closest approach to Earth, so the energy is potent. It’s not about fitting in or doing things because you should. What is your deep inner voice telling you?

June asks for a slower pace. If you’re not in your body right now, it will feel very uncomfortable. The twins of Gemini bring the harmony of Yin and Yang to the table. Instead of spinning faster, can you find a pause to reflect? Slowing down doesn’t mean stopping altogether; there will still be movement, but in a more consciously connected way. Gemini is asking for a deeper relationship with the self. Then, when the spin kicks in, you are better able to adapt and move with the changes rather than getting flung around.

Communications are key in Gemini, especially with Mercury in its pre-shadow cycle. Mental chatter might feel loud. The practices that bring you back within yourself will really serve you. They will help sift through the clutter by connecting to your inner world. Then listen to what your body is telling you. What feels out of alignment and needs a freshen-up? It’s the things that make you physically contract that need addressing, and the things that open you up or make you feel lit from within that deserve your attention.

Social Gemini loves the outer relationships as much as the inner. However, it is not the cycle for the massive parties. Think cosy, one-on-one catch-ups where you can be fully present with each other. Choose socialising that nourishes you, not drains you. Choose the ones that feel effortless, not forced.

Set your intentions from a place of embodiment, how you want to feel and be seen in the world. Create them without pressure or expectation, and definitely not out of fear. Feel rather than overthink. Stay aligned with what you want to bring forward, rather than being led or influenced by others.

Today’s Full Moon in Sagittarius (4:45pm, Perth) is a Blue Moon, the second Full Moon in May. This rare alignment amplifies the energy, creating powerful potential for transformation and growth.

Sagittarius, the adventurous Fire sign, breaks away from routine to inspire boundless exploration. This cycle offers a powerful chance for soul-led expansion and a wider view of what you can achieve.

“What is calling your spirit forward now?”

After months of responsibility and routine, it's time to listen to your inner urges. You may seek more space, adventure, or meaning in life. Sagittarius energy guides you to embrace joy and spontaneity. Move towards what excites you without second-guessing. You will need to fully trust what is arising. Can you soften control and the need to know all the details?

The next chapter of your life may require stripping back everything that is comfortable and creating space for the unexpected. Full Moon is about releasing what no longer serves you. You could be moving towards a less-is-more approach to life. A simpler way of being that offers richer experiences and interactions. These might be fewer and farther between, but more expansive than what comes from constantly chasing.

Cosy season is settling in here in Perth, matching the New Moon in Ta**us (Sunday, 4:01am, Perth). Ta**us, ruled by Earth, encourages us to slow down and embrace rest and comfort as the main themes. Grab a blanket and turn on the heater.

Continuing from this sense of cosiness, today’s moon energy is all about nourishing and nurturing. Allow yourself some pleasures without guilt. When you feel nourished, there is a sense of embodiment: you are in your body and feel content. You may feel the pull to return to the simple things. Strip life back and see if less is more.

A good question to ponder is, “Is this really nourishing me?”

Depending on where you are, you may notice different urges. If you are in the north, a spring clean may be in order. Here in the south, paring back to what is essential before winter might be calling.

Building on this idea of slowing down, Ta**us is asking you to soften the urgency. Life is fast-paced enough, and instant gratification is at your fingertips. What would it feel like to take the day off from technology? Read an actual paperback or colour in a picture. Go for a walk or take time to sit down and talk. Taking a day to go slow and be present might be just what you need. See what can wait until tomorrow (some things won’t wait, but you can try!).

Notice what unfolds when you embrace this slower pace. Observe what happens when you aren’t surrounded by artificial sensory overload. You might feel like creating a cocoon to nest in and rest. Maybe you are drawn to ritual and time for reflection. Go with practices that feel right today, not what you think you should be doing.

When your nourishment time ends, set clear intentions for how you want to feel moving forward. Let the feelings you’ve cultivated guide you. This or something more!

There is a distinctive texture to this Full Moon in Scorpio (Saturday, 1:23am, Perth). It may feel coarse in places and smooth elsewhere. Scorpio is enigmatic; what you see on the surface is rarely what you get. Today is ideal for introspection; everything you've overlooked or avoided is illuminated by the Moon.

Scorpio’s watery energy stirs emotions not for drama, but for clarity. This is your moment to be honest with yourself about what you’ve been avoiding. Emotional intensity signals the truth of your feelings; acknowledge them. As change approaches, your hidden aspects are ready for transformation.

A classic Scorpio move is to initiate the shedding of the old. Especially as it is a full moon, it is the perfect time to let go of what is outdated. You may be going through an identity shift, or a habit needs reassessing. I invite you to pay particular attention to your attachments. Where are you gripping too tightly? There might be a power struggle with control and surrender today, so pay attention.

As you shed what no longer is in alignment, grief and relief will sit side by side. There will be a weight lifted, but also some sadness for the old. Vulnerability opens the door for deeper connections with yourself and others. When your armor comes off, what is underneath?

Finally, view this Full Moon as a time for rebirth. Scorpio teaches that endings open space for meaningful renewal. When the land has been cleared, new growth can begin, allowing a more aligned version of yourself to emerge. Be more purpose-driven, rather than skimming along in the shallows. There’s an electric quality in the air for the New Moon Aries today (7:52pm in Perth). Aries is the fire starter, the first sign of the zodiac. It clears the way for the astrological new year. Do you feel like you are standing on the threshold of a raw new beginning? So much was achieved over the past twelve months. This New Moon is going to propel you to higher heights.

Aries works off deep inner instinct and the ability to take some risks without the self-doubt kicking in. Today, feel and follow, rather than think and grind to a halt. Aries brings bursts of motivation to make a change. This New Moon is asking you to take action to move past what is comfortable. It is not the moon for just wishing and wanting. Action-focused intention setting is needed to set you up for the year ahead.

If you are still waiting for the right time and aren’t ready yet, Aries will light a fire beneath you. This will turn things around. Your passion will be reignited. The thirst for new, exciting projects will push aside the ‘not ready’. If not now, then when?

Boundaries need to be strong. If what holds you back is saying yes to things that don't align with you, stop. Filter your dreams less to fit others' expectations. Honour your no as a complete sentence. Avoid justifying or writing essays on why you say no. Be prepared to face rejection and to hear no from others. These experiences help clear the way for your YES!

Your next steps require clear, decisive, uncluttered decisions from deep within. Follow your inner flame. Let it light the way for you. Take time today to write out your intentions and notice what builds within you as you do. This New Moon is not one to skip over or take lightly. Set yourself up for the most incredible year and cycle ahead!

After the shift of eclipse season, it’s time for purposeful action in Aries season. Breathe deeply, change is underway.

Firstly, there is the Full Moon in Libra, either landing on the 1st or 2nd April (10:12am, Perth). Libra is an Air sign, so connecting with your breath is a great practice for building a relationship with this month’s element and with yourself. To do this now, pause for a moment, and take a few really deep breaths in and out. As you finish, notice how you feel.

Libra is calling all things back into harmony today. It is the sign of relationships and connection that seeks harmony when things are off kilter. The invitation is here to access what is not feeling right and out of whack in all your relationships. If there is stagnant energy building from unsaid conversations or a shift in boundaries, today’s moon is here to clear the way.

Relationships take work. Yes, sometimes they are effortless, but other times you can fall into a rut. It’s always a work in progress as you all evolve and grow. If something isn’t working for you, it is time to air your thoughts. It’s a two-way street, and a middle ground needs to be found to restore harmony. Aries brings self-focus, but Libra urges you to blend individual and collective needs. Fine-tune what your needs are, but also how you can support others in a reciprocal way.

Maybe the Full Moon is here to clear away cobwebs or do a deep clean. Use it to make way for the exciting astrological year ahead. The space needs to be made, as you’ll be bringing your desires into reality on the next New Moon on the 17th. Tidy up the loose ends and close off the loops to make the most of what is to come!

The final new moon of the astrological year is here. The New Moon in watery Pisces (Thurs, 9:23am in Perth) invites you to reflect on your experiences from the past twelve cycles. While new moons symbolise beginnings, this moment also carries a strong sense of completion. Tune into your feelings without overanalysing; Pisces energy encourages emotional awareness. Notice how your journey up to this point feels.

There is an invitation to soften this moon. Release all that is complete back to the ocean. It is not a day for forcing. Instead, find your flow. The eclipse season brought up many things for assessment. Listen to the nudges you know will bring great change, as old parts of you are washed away. You know deep down the patterns that can’t keep being repeated. Yet, they’ve managed to stay until now. Pisces is all about the water works. Emotional processing is a given. Let it flow. Feel the grief, the guilt, and the guidance these emotions bring.

What needs closing off to clear the way for some potent Pisces intentions?

Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the mystical planet. Spirit connection is strong today as the veils are thin. You may notice your intuition comes in quick and on point. Don’t ignore it. Pay attention to your dreams; there are messages being delivered. Trust what you are feeling and the deep knowing, even if it doesn’t make sense.

All these things will help you craft the intentions for how you would like to feel in this final cycle. If there are any intentions from previous moons that haven’t come into fruition, but still feel right, bring them into the mix. They might need reframing, or perhaps it’s time to let them dissolve.
