Feeding support is not just for “severe” cases.

Many families seek help because feeding has simply become stressful, confusing, or emotionally exhausting.

Support may help with:
✔ very selective eating
✔ anxiety around food or meals
✔ mealtime stress and pressure
✔ concerns about nutrition or growth
✔ uncertainty around what’s normal and what to do next

Using responsive feeding approaches, including The Division of Responsibility in Feeding, the goal is to create calmer, more supportive feeding experiences over time.

You do not need to wait until things feel worse to ask for help.

Appointments are available (booking link in bio).

Parents carry so much pressure around feeding.

If your child struggles with food, it can quickly start to feel personal - even though feeding challenges are incredibly common.

You do not need to fix this perfectly.
You do not need stricter rules.
You do not need more guilt.

Support can help create calmer, more manageable mealtimes over time 🌿

Exposure is not the same as pressure.

Children often need repeated, low-pressure opportunities to learn about new foods.

That means:
✔ seeing foods regularly
✔ watching others eat them
✔ touching or interacting with foods
✔ exploring without expectations

Progress is not always linear - and tasting is not the only sign of success.
This is one reason family-style meals and relaxed food exposure can be so helpful 🌿

If feeding feels stressful or stuck, support is available.

If you recognised yourself in any of these slides… you are definitely not alone 🙏

Feeding concerns are incredibly common - especially during toddler and preschool years.

Many families wait a long time before seeking support because they think:
❌ “Maybe it’s just a phase”
❌ “Maybe I’m overreacting”
❌ “Maybe I should know what to do”

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Support can help reduce stress, improve confidence, and create calmer mealtimes 🌿

Many feeding challenges emerge during completely normal developmental stages.

Toddlers and young children are designed to:
• become cautious with unfamiliar foods
• show changing appetites
• seek predictability and familiarity

This can feel frustrating or worrying for parents - but it does not mean you have failed.

The goal is not perfect eating.

The goal is helping children feel safe, supported, and confident around food over time.

If you need support with picky eating or feeding concerns, appointments are available (link in bio).

One of the most common worries I hear is:

“But what if they refuse dinner?”

It makes sense to worry - especially when you care deeply about your child’s nutrition.

But pressure, bargaining, and “just one more bite” often increase stress around food instead of helping.

Children generally eat best when:

✔ meals feel predictable
✔ pressure is reduced
✔ parents provide structure
✔ children trust their appetite cues

This is one of the foundations of The Division of Responsibility in Feeding.

If feeding has become stressful in your home, support is available.

🍰🍪🍦 “Finish your vegetables first.”

Most of us grew up hearing messages like this - but using dessert as a reward can unintentionally place foods into “good” and “bad” categories.

Over time, this can increase pressure, food focus, and emotional intensity around eating.

Using principles from Intuitive Eating and The Division of Responsibility in Feeding, we instead aim to create more neutral, structured experiences with food.

Parents provide:
✔ what food is offered
✔ when food is offered
✔ where meals happen

Children decide:
✔ whether to eat
✔ how much to eat

This helps children build trust with food and their bodies over time 🌿

If feeding feels stressful or confusing, support is available.

If you dread dinner time, you’re not alone.

For many families, mealtimes feel stressful, unpredictable, or emotionally draining - especially when a child is selective or anxious around food.

But feeding doesn’t have to feel like this.

When we understand the 'why' behind eating behaviours and apply calm, consistent structure, mealtimes can gradually become more neutral and manageable.

Support is available if you’re feeling stuck.

Mealtimes shouldn’t feel like a negotiation, a battle, or a source of daily stress.

Many parents I work with describe feeling anxious before meals, unsure what their child will eat, or exhausted from trying to “get them to eat something.”

If this sounds familiar, please know this is incredibly common - and it is not a sign you are doing anything wrong.

Feeding challenges often improve when we step away from pressure and instead focus on structure, predictability, and trust in the feeding relationship.

If mealtimes feel hard in your home, support is available and appointments are open (online booking link in bio).
