Registered Korean and Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Practitioner.

🌿I graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine with a Bachelor Degree of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Also, I hold a double degree in TCM from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
🌿As a registered TCM practitioner with Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (under AHPRA) and Federation of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Associations of Australia(FCMA), I will do my best to care for your health and wellbeing.

Following a stroke, patients often experience post-stroke depression. Symptoms including anxiety, hopelessness and insomnia can have a severe negative impact on the stroke survivor's daily life and make rehabilitation more difficult.

A 2023 study from the BMC Psychiatry Journal, found that on its own or combined with other therapies, acupuncture ""appears to be effective in improving depression symptoms of stroke survivors.""

This research suggests that acupuncture may prove to be an effective therapy option in the treatment of post-stroke depression.
