We start speaking and that’s how we build confidence.

As many will know, there are a lot of moving parts in pulling events together.

People often see me or people standing at the front delivering a workshop or at the events, but often we don’t see the people behind the scenes who help play crucial roles.

As we completed the first of our six Regional WA Wellbeing events in Bunbury undefined , I just wanted to say thank you to few people.

Dave Castro , thank you for backing this idea from the start and helping make it a reality and for being so welcoming while I was in City of Bunbury

Ineke Oliver , thank you for everything you did behind the scenes with your support and generosity, I really appreciate everything you did.

Sean McKeown , thank you for helping spread the word and connecting us with the local community, aswell as the location amd offering your time.

There were plenty of others who also chipped in over the week, and I’m grateful to every one of you.

A massive thank you as well to Greater Bunbury RotaryClub and the Dirt and Dust Run for funding this initiative. Because of your support, we were able to provide free wellbeing workshops, Mental Health First Aid International training and community events that reached a lot of great people.
Happy days😊

Regional WA Wellbeing Initiative Bunbury Launch

We’ve just wrapped the first stop of our 6-town Regional WA Wellbeing Initiative, and Bunbury showed up in a big way.

With support from the Dirt n Dust Run and Greater Bunbury Rotary, the week included:
• A sold-out Mental Health First Aid course
• A near-capacity wellbeing workshop
• A community BBQ
• A Men’s Circle

The turnout was incredible and another win was the conversations.

It was people saying, “Let’s keep this going.”

That’s exactly what this initiative is about not one-off events, but helping communities build something that lasts.

And Bunbury has already started doing just that.

This is only the beginning. Next stop: another regional WA community.
