➡️ Turn left at the first FERNDALE CRESCENT roundabout
➡️ Turn right at BLANCOA ROAD
➡️ Continue until the end, then turn right (on to Ferndale Crescent)
➡️ Turn left at ESTEVAN WAY and there is a secondary carpark on the right behind us 👍🏻

🚗 FROM NICHOLSON ROAD END:
⚠️ The traffic controller in front of Lynwood Vets has kindly agreed to allow customers to pass this end and access the carpark if you drive over the grass 🙏

❓How does FluMist work?
✅ FluMist contains tiny amounts of weakened flu viruses that mimic a natural infection to stimulate the body’s immunity.

❓Is FluMist as safe and effective as the needle?
✅ Yes. Like all vaccines used in Australia, FluMist has been determined to be safe and effective for use by the TGA. Although this vaccine is available for the first time in Australia, it has actually been used in the UK, USA and Canada in millions of children since 2013. It has shown to be equally as effective as the injected vaccine.

❓Is it still effective if my child sneezes after the vaccine?
✅ Yes, the vaccine is rapidly absorbed so even if the patient sneezes it will still be effective.

❓Who can get FluMist?
✅ FluMist is free for children aged 2-11yrs old. For children 12-18yrs, they may choose to pay for it privately. It is not registered for use in patients over the age of 18.

❓My child is normally healthy, do they still need the flu vaccine?
✅ Yes. Even healthy children can develop severe complications from flu resulting in hospitalisation. Keeping your child well also helps avoid time off school, work and other activities, as well as reduces the risk of spreading the virus to vulnerable contacts.
