We said it last session. In fact, weโve said it pretty much every session.
This one was special. Whyโฆ?
A few of the men had to pull out at the last minute, all for different reasons. And in that, we were reminded that everything happens for a reason. Everything unfolds exactly as itโs meant to.
Itโs a reminder that while we canโt always control what happens, we can choose how we respond and what we make of it. Sometimes itโs about letting go of how we thought things should be and being open to whatโs unfolding in front of us.
We have choice. We have agency.
So today, we experienced a smaller, more intimate workshop, something we havenโt had since the early days of RISE UP.
And what a beautiful synchronicity it turned out to be.
With fewer of us in the room, there was more space. More time. More opportunity for open, honest conversations between like minded men. The kind of conversations that build connection, challenge perspectives and call each other forward.
Different numbers. Different energy. Same purposeโฆ
Creating a space where men can show up as they are, connect without judgement and continue doing the work.
To the brothers who showed up today, thank you for the openness, the honesty and the willingness to lean in.
