Our medical team includes Dr Nick Fatehee and Dr Maysa Abu Laban, who bring complementary experience across skin cancer medicine, dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

• Dr Nick Fatehee has over 12 years of experience in skin cancer, dermatology and aesthetic medicine. His services include skin cancer assessment and treatment, as well as the medical management of acne.

• Dr Maysa Abu Laban has over 19 years of experience in aesthetic medicine, with qualifications and experience in skin cancer medicine and surgery. Her clinical interests include skin cancer care and a range of cosmetic skin treatments.

Around 500,000 Australians have a common non-melanoma skin cancer surgically removed each year.

New data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) shows that around 2% of Australians have a common non-melanoma skin cancer surgically removed each year. Common non-melanoma skin cancer is estimated to be up to three times as common as all other cancers combined.

Rates are higher among men, older Australians and people living in regional areas.

Being aware of changes to your skin and speaking with a health professional about anything concerning can help identify changes that may require further assessment.
