The secret isn’t motivation, it’s preparation 🥗🥙🥘

Meal prep isn’t for everyone, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be prepped at all! 🙌🏽

Food prep is simple, flexible, and can save you heaps of time throughout the week.

✨ Easy food prep ideas:
• Prep brekkys & snacks like overnight oats or chia puddings
• Wash & chop fresh fruit and veggies
• Cook a batch of protein (tofu, chicken, mince, etc.)
• Cook rice, pasta, or potatoes to use across multiple meals
• Portion out snacks into grab-and-go containers
• Prepare smoothie packs & freeze them
• Make a big salad base to add protein to throughout the week
• Keep convenient staples on hand like yoghurt, frozen vege, tinned beans, and microwave rice

You don’t need perfectly portioned matching containers for every meal. A little bit of preparation can make healthy eating easier, reduce decision fatigue, and help you stay consistent when life gets busy. 👏🏽

A few minutes of prep now can save you hours during the week. 🧡

PROTEIN CEREAL HATE 🚫

Nutrition fear mongering is rampant on social media and I am not here for it 🫠 nor will I stand for protein Weet-Bix slander 😭😂

l’ve seen some very oversimplified claims lately around wheat protein and protein-fortified cereals being positioned as “bad” SO here’s your reminder that foods can be processed, convenient AND still have nutritional value. 👏🏽

Cereals and breads are commonly fortified with protein and nutrients like calcium, iron, folate and B vitamins, making them a practical option for convenience, affordability and increasing overall protein/nutrient intake.

A food does not need to be “perfect” to fit into a balanced diet. Context and overall dietary patterns matter the most!

P.S some protein cereals actually use soy protein… which IS a complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids 💁🏽‍♀️🙂‍↕️😏

Hi all 👋🏽 I’ve been gym training for ~10 years now 🤯 and something really shifted in the last year or two.

I’m starting to see possibilities I never would’ve even considered before - it’s super exciting 🥹 and it feels like I’m only just getting started. Building my circle of such a knowledgeable and supportive team and learning every day to be patient with the process and trust my training.🙂‍↕️

Comparison is something that’s been on my mind a lot lately, it’s something we all deal with, and I’m no exception. Whether you’re stepping into the gym for the first time or you’ve been at it for years, it’s easy to find someone to measure yourself against.

I actually think it can be a good thing when it’s coming from a positive place. Having people who inspire you and raise your standards can push you to grow… just don’t let it take away from how far you’ve come. 🫶🏼
