✨ A Night of Impact at the Anglicare WA MEH Gala ✨

TADWA was proud to attend the Anglicare WA The MEH Gala at Crown Perth, represented by CEO Gill Walker and our Marketing & Communications manager.

As part of our ongoing partnership with Anglicare WA TADWA donated an adaptive trike from our Recreation & Mobility Team to be auctioned during the event. We're delighted that the trike attracted strong interest and contributed to the fundraising success of the evening.

The funds raised will support Anglicare WA's Thread Together program, which provides brand-new clothing to Western Australians experiencing hardship while reducing textile waste and keeping quality garments out of landfill.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating the remarkable work of organisations and individuals who are creating positive change across our community. We were especially proud to see Gill posing with the trike before it found its new owner through the auction.

Thank you to Anglicare WA for including us in such a memorable and impactful event.

🚲 We're delighted to deliver new adaptive trikes to education support centres in Bunbury.

Thanks to grant funding, TADWA recently donated three trikes to Newton Moore Education Support Centre and one trike to College Row School creating more opportunities for students to experience the benefits of riding.

Our partnership with Newton Moore has grown over the past two years through several adaptive cycling incursions, where we've seen students build confidence, develop their riding skills and discover the joy of cycling. Several students have even gone on to access their own trikes through NDIS funding.

Earlier this year, we also had the pleasure of visiting College Row School, where students enthusiastically explored a range of modified bikes and trikes, with many quickly overcoming their hesitancy and embracing the opportunity to ride.

With ongoing access to these trikes, students at both schools can continue to enjoy the physical, social and wellbeing benefits of adaptive cycling, while building confidence, participation and connection with others.

We're proud to support schools in creating more inclusive opportunities for students to experience the freedom and enjoyment that riding can provide.

Interested in experiencing the benefits of adaptive cycling? TADWA's Recreation & Mobility team offers a range of modified bikes and trikes to suit different needs and goals. Contact us to find out more about adaptive cycling options, bike trials and assessments.

TADWA proudly acknowledges NAIDOC Week 2026 and this year’s powerful theme: “Fifty Years of Deadly.”

We honour the individuals who have shaped this movement over five decades. The Elders whose leadership and resilience built its foundations, the organisers who created space for truth-telling and community voice, the artists who transformed resistance into cultural expression, and the communities whose unwavering support continues to strengthen this legacy.

TADWA remains committed to standing together in recognition, reflection, and celebration. Our dedication to honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories is ongoing, embedded in our work and our values every day.
