๐Ÿง  EXERCISE MEDICINE & MENTAL HEALTH: THE RESULTS ARE IN.

What happens when exercise medicine becomes part of a personโ€™s mental health care?

Our real-world findings at Chronic Care Australia show promising improvements in both mental and physical wellbeing for people living with a primary diagnosed mental illness.

Across our 12-week Exercise Medicine programs, clients who participated 2โ€“3 times per week experienced:

๐Ÿ“‰ 34% reduction in depression scores
๐Ÿ“‰ 37% reduction in anxiety scores
๐Ÿ“‰ 31% reduction in stress scores

And the benefits extended beyond these measures, with participants reporting:

๐Ÿ’ช 87% improvement in perceived fitness
โค๏ธ 79% improvement in health & wellbeing
๐Ÿ”ฅ 69% improvement in motivation to exercise
๐Ÿ˜Š 36% increase in perceived happiness
๐Ÿ˜ด 11% improvement in perceived sleep quality

At CCA, weโ€™re committed to generating real-world evidence that demonstrates what happens when healthcare focuses on outcomes that matter to the people receiving it.

Exercise is more than movement. It can be medicine too.

โœจ NEW RESULTS FROM OUR POTS PROGRAM โœจ

Weโ€™re excited to share the results of our POTS Exercise Medicine Program.

Over just 12 weeks, participants saw their average Malmรถ POTS Symptom Survey score drop from 57 (diagnostic range) to 34 (non-diagnostic range), representing a clinically meaningful reduction in symptom burden. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our program uses individualised, gradual exercise progression to help people living with POTS work towards improving exercise tolerance, cardiovascular function, strength, circulation and overall quality of life.

And the best part? You donโ€™t have to live locally to access the program. ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ“ In-person: Our POTS program is available at our Cottesloe clinic.

๐Ÿ’ป Virtual: Our Virtual Care Clinic allows us to work with clients across Australia โ€” and internationally.
