This is the hat.
Rose leather, wide brim, not a hat you can wear quietly. Craig walked in with it like it was nothing, no wrapping, just handed it over. Oscar looked it over first in the store, turned it in his hands, and approved before I even knew a thing about it. Thirteen years old and already vetting his mother's crowns.
I still don't fully know why he chose this one, this week, in this exact shade of rose. And that, right there, is the part I want you to sit with before you read any further.
I didn't ask for it. I didn't earn it through another eighteen hour day. It was simply gifted in love.
I am 8 weeks into a massive, audacious $60k business launch container. To date, we have generated $35,000 with exactly 9 days left on the clock. Six magnificent, decided leaders are already anchored inside my new spiritual program, and I can feel the weight of the others moving through the current toward the gate.
By every standard of the modern entrepreneurial world, my Saturday morning should have been a war zone of frantic strategies, final pushes, and high voltage stress.
Instead, my schedule completely cleared at 7:00am. And I found myself doing something the old, hyper independent, do it all, do it now version of me would have called lazy, or worse, called quitting.
I stood in the quiet of my home and ironed a scarf.
For decades, my nervous system was addicted to the high cortisol adrenaline of crisis. My mind told me that if I wasn't running surgeries on Harley Street, managing a household, or muscling my way through the current of everyone else's expectations, I was falling behind. Studying for an exam that had no date.
But this morning, as the iron smoothed the wrinkles out of that fabric, I felt a physical tiredness with no despair in it at all. A peace so heavy it settled deep into my pelvic bowl.
So much of this launch season did not go the way my rigid, human plans said it should. The strategies cracked. The synchronicities were messy. I am the peaceful negotiator in a world addicted to war, and this launch tested that title in ways no funnel diagram ever could. Yet the absolute devotion of my mentors Sarah Anne Steph Zito Karin van der Valk, the solid love of my husband and my son, and my direct, unborrowed connection with the Divine Holy Spirit held me the whole way through.
In a conversation today, we broke down the exact mechanics of what it means to hold an energetic boundary. We talked about how to genuinely know the difference between a passing, limiting thought and a deeply entrenched, generational belief pattern that has been running your show without your permission.
Here is what I want to ask you, because I asked myself the same thing this morning.
If you don't make a decision about the thing you already know you're meant to do, where will you actually be in six months? Not the version you tell people at dinner. The real one.
And if you did make the decision, and it worked. What are you most afraid will happen? That you'll become a bad mother. A distracted wife. That your friends won't recognise the woman who finally stopped shrinking.
Sit with that one for a second. Anything else underneath it?
Because healing was never going to come from fixing your thoughts. It comes from a decided space within you that no launch, no scarf, no cortisol spike can touch.
When you stop trying to control the mechanics of the wave, and instead drop behind your sternum and follow the absolute frequency of the Calling, the timeline realigns itself. The quantum field stops mirroring your anxiety and begins mirroring your unshakeable certainty.
My old belief system wanted me to keep going, push forward, deny the body. My new sovereign design commands me to rest.
The $35,000 is held. The remaining leaders are on their way. The scarf is perfectly smooth. And the hat, the one I didn't ask for, the one my son approved before I did, is exactly the kind of spiritual wealth I am learning to simply receive, no performance required.
We are pulling your spirit sister, or your spirit self, off the shelf. We are done negotiating for a seat at our own table. We are taking the helm.
with love, Tess
