This year's theme is "The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters."

Dementia touches the lives of hundreds of thousands of Australians - and many more family members, friends and caregivers around them.

This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, learn more about dementia and encourage conversations about the importance of recognising changes early.

Because when it comes to dementia, the earlier you know, the more you can do.
