Parents: We’re at war with ourselves.

Self judgement. Comparison. Self doubt. Not being enough. Not doing enough.

We’re constantly comparing ourselves to others, our egos going to work to protect ourselves.

“They’re probably on the jab”

“We’ve got more kids”

“She’s a stay at home Mum, I could lose the weight if I didn’t have to work”

The reality is… every person in a challenging situation has managed to transform their physique.

The stay at home Mum that “has it easy” has battled through an eating disorder.

The parents that are “killing it” and can afford a coach also have a six figure tax bill and have to take a loan to pay their staff.

The Mum that it’s easy for because “she’s always been skinny” has trained 5 days a week for the last decade and tracks her food 80% of the time.

It’s not about the situation, it’s how much you prioritise your health.

-29kg in Nine Months…

One of the hardest working members we’ve had at BBR!

James has lost the weight, he also built some lean tissue in the process through the first three months.

Now he is working equally as hard in his reverse diet…

This is the real win that nobody speaks about.

Everyone loves the weight loss on the scales but what happens after?

How do you not only keep the results but continue to make process?

The hardest part for EVERYONE is to understand you’re winning and it’s a part of the process when the scales go up after your fat loss phase… (when it’s planned and you have a strategy)

This is what happens:

Extra scale weight from food storage, glycogen (carbs being stored as fuel in your muscles and liver), water and muscle.

You can’t stay in a deficit forever…

You need to build muscle…

You need to understand the goal is to build muscle and increase your metabolic rate…

The goal isn’t to keep losing weight forever…

So I’ve tried to time this post for James.

The weight loss phase was a HUGE success.

But right now, crushing his training, the scaling going up, looking lean, strong and healthy.

This is celebrating STRONG!

This is celebrating working through all phases of training and health…..

Absolute weapon and we’re all here supporting every step of his journey.
