Spring brings a change in the weather, and Ayurveda reminds us that our daily routine can change with it. 🌼
In Ayurveda, seasonal living is known as Ritucharya, adapting food, activity and daily habits as the seasons shift rather than following the same routine all year round.
As we move into spring, it can be a good time to reassess habits that may have suited the colder months. Lighter freshly cooked meals, regular movement, Abhyanga, adequate rest and appropriate seasonal Ayurvedic practices can all form part of that transition.
For some people, spring may also be considered a suitable time for Ayurvedic cleansing or detox practices. But Ayurveda is individualised, the right approach depends on your constitution, health, digestion and current needs.
