It's all on you, totally your choice.

Whatever life has thrown at you, you can make positive change.

Eat wholefoods.

Drink quality water filtered free from chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals and water borne pathogens.

Move every day until you sweat.

Walk everywhere.

Lift weights.

Get out in the sun as naked as possible.

Ditch the following;

LED lighting
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Seed oils and anyging cooked in them, so pretty much all takeaway food
Alcohol - there is no 'safe' dose
Sugar - especially sodas
Phones/devices after dark
Wifi - turn it off at night
Perfumes/colognes - zero regulations and people spray them on the thinnest skin by their thyroid!
Scented candles
Any personal products that contain aluminium or perfume
All toxic cleaning products, dishwasher tabs and clothes washing powder or liquid
Non stick pans
Insecticides/weedkillers

All of the above can be swapped out for natural alternatives. I could suggest some but to be honest, you can do some work and find them yourself.

End of week session.

Chronological age 60 yrs, biological age 32 yrs, based on Hume Health Pod parameters. I'll take that!

Rest day tomorrow, gym Sunday.

Yoga/Mobility Monday (public holiday so no Muay Thai).

Aim to be the oldest in the gym or on the mats, not the youngest in the aged care home.

No-one is coming to save you.

It's just you.

Here's a rough guide of what I do at 60 to keep limber and lean.
Mon, Wed, Friday and some Saturdays (I'm currently rehabbing an injury) - Muay Thai session. Get a sweat on, lose fat, build muscle, great cardio and really important for balance. And who doesn't like punching and kicking people?

Tues and Thurs - Gym, weight sessions usually mentored by my son who is cut like a Greek God.

Every day - Move. I do a mixture of movement routines based on yoga and flexibility every morning.

One of my favourites are the Tom Merrick routines he has freely available on You Tube.

I'm very conscious of being able to get up and down off the floor easily without hands and being able to squat.

Use it or lose it.

I also make sure I'm walking around 10k steps a day just through keeping moving.

Please don't buy bottled water in plastic. It's often just tap water amyway and has been sitting in a warehouse for months on end absorbing microplastic that you drink.

Buy it bottled in glass or better still use water from home that has been filtered and had been remineralised.

The 2 litres a day thing was introduced when they started to put fluoride, a neurotoxin, in the water supply.

They just want you dumbed down.

Don't be so naive.

I try not to use supermarkets. I try to use our famer's markets, butchers, independent shops, our local health shop or decent online businesses, but sometimes I just have to stoop low.

But this is me.

Is this you?

Ever wondered what you’re tracking through your home on your shoes?

I've experienced a few people get a bit arsey when I've invited them into my home but asked them to remove their shoes.

Ultimately it's their choice - off or bu**er off! We keep a really clean chemical free home and Iike it that way

Studies have found that outdoor footwear can carry a surprising mix of contaminants indoors—everything from dirt and bacteria to pesticide residues like glyphosate. These substances can linger on floors, carpets, and surfaces where kids play and pets roam.

Some key facts:

• Shoes can transfer pesticides from lawns, parks, and public spaces into your home
• Trace chemicals like glyphosate have been detected in indoor dust
• Bacteria from public areas (including restrooms) can hitch a ride on shoe soles
• Carpets and rugs can trap and hold these contaminants over time.
A simple habit—removing your shoes at the door—can significantly reduce what comes inside. It’s a small change that helps keep your indoor environment cleaner and healthier.

Healthy home, healthier you.

No Muay Thai now for 4 weeks due to my plantar fasciitis. 😕

However, I've been following a strict routine from my physio and it's definitely starting to get better.

Meanwhile, I've also been doing a mobility workout courtesy of every morning without fail and have been at the gym every other day weight training and a 5km cooldown on the bike.

Hopefully back at MT in a week to ten days.

Fingers crossed.

60 is the new 40.
