A slow, gentle practise focusing on the meridians, myofacial release, breathwork to relax the body and help with nervous system reset. Allowing the body and mind to come to stillness. Long term benefits aid with restlessness, overthinking, tension, trauma held in the body, lowering stress hormone cortisol, deeper breathing and more. A safe space to just be. You may feel the difference after a class or two ✨️

Tuesdays at Rostrata Family Centre 6:30-7:30pm. Bring yourself, in comfy clothes, no experience required, props all provided. Heater will be on and hot tea will be served 😊

As a mobility/strength coach and yoga teacher, I hear this all the time. I wanted to talk about this whole "not enoughness" thing that can really mess with your training or even just how you move through life. 🫠

Do you ever catch yourself saying you're not good at something, or maybe it's your unconscious mind thinking your body and mind are scared you won't do well and will fail? 🥰👌

I totally do this too, and I hear all the encouragement and feedback from others. Slowly, I reflect and just give it my best shot, at least I tried.

In mobility and yoga, it could be:
- a nervous system response
- being impatient with yourself
- a battle with your ego
- fear of failure
- or just accepting you're not anatomically able

That internal chatter and feedback we get from our minds might not always be true, but our bodies? Physical sensations can tell us the truth.
