Leading Lights Early Intervention A paediatric practice redefining how care is delivered to children and families.

Built on a transdisciplinary model, we bring highly trained professionals into one integrated, family-centred approach—reducing fragmentation and empowering families. If your child has needs across multiple disciplines, or you are tired of being on waitlists for certain therapies, then having a Key Worker is a great way to start the intervention required to support them in reaching their goals. As

a Key Worker, we become the main contact for your family and your child and collaborate with other therapists to ensure we are successfully implementing strategies and supports across all disciplines relevant to your child’s care. We will manage and organise for the right assessments and reports with the appropriate professionals, and assist you in being ready for NDIS plan reviews and other important meetings. We take pride in helping you to implement a number of supports including therapy informed strategies, emotional support, offering information and advice in a variety of settings including at home, schools, childcare, and other places your child attends. We might work with you over a number of years and forming a partnership is a key phrase in describing how we will become a strong team around your child. By identifying goals for your child and family, direct support and linking you with other professionals and the broader community can all be achieved. Having a Key Worker is a great way to ensure consistent productivity across your child’s entire early intervention case. Our dear friend, The Honourable Bruce Billson, set us up with an incredibly exciting and productive meeting today with the Shadow Minister for Education- Elizabeth Lee.

We were able to share real-time issues, including perspectives from parents and teachers, challenges with resource availability, and limitations in current classroom setups. We highlighted how school infrastructure often falls short for children with additional needs and advocated for funding to enhance teacher training in learning, cognition, and neurodevelopment.

We also addressed functional treatments for various disabilities and diagnoses to ensure positive outcomes for children receiving therapies both inside and outside school. Both Bruce Billson and Elizabeth Lee were receptive, showing genuine interest in our findings. We left the meeting feeling optimistic about future collaboration and are extremely grateful for their time.

We look forward to continuing to advocate, collaborate, and effect positive change.

Little Lights Early Intervention Playgroup is COMING! ✨🌟

This is no ordinary playgroup; this is an educational group for parents and carers. Hosted by early intervention specialists and therapists in the field, we will also have guest speakers and visits from other health professionals each week. Move away from the groups where it is too easy to compare your child to others, and step into our all-inclusive space where we can give you 'real-time' advise, support, and integrated therapy services.
