🌟 Support Worker Needed – Morning School Routine (Wollongong)
Serenity Care Supports is seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a child with Autism Level 3 in the Warrilla area, Wollongong.
🕖 Shift:
7:00am – 9:00am (day shift)
These are the only guaranteed hours at this stage, ideal for someone seeking short, consistent morning work. There may be opportunities for additional on-call shifts when the participant is unwell or during school holidays.
👧 About the Role
You will support a teenager with her morning routine and school readiness, including:
Assisting her to get up and prepare for the day
Providing encouragement and support with transitions (especially getting out of bed 😊)
Transporting her safely to school in Wollongong
She is non-verbal, loves interaction and engagement, and enjoys parroting sounds and connection—just not early mornings!
✅ Mandatory Requirements
All applicants must have:
Full driver’s licence and roadworthy, reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
Certificate III or above (Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent)
Current First Aid & CPR
Willingness to:
Work within an established team routine
Support goal-based outcomes
Complete training in epilepsy management and medication administration
