🌈 Eat the Rainbow 🌈
Adding more colour to your plate isn’t just about making your meals look good it’s one of the easiest ways to boost your nutrition.
Different coloured fruits and vegetables contain different vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and plant compounds that support your health:
🔴 Red foods support heart health
🟠 Orange foods are rich in vitamin A for eye health
🟡 Yellow foods contain antioxidants that support immunity
🟢 Green foods provide folate, iron, and fibre
🔵🟣 Blue and purple foods contain compounds that support brain health
The more colours you include across your day, the wider variety of nutrients you’re giving your body.
Aim for at least 3 different colours at each main meal and watch your nutrition improve without overcomplicating things.
