🔨 Practice Update – Renovations & Transition Period 🔨
As we begin an exciting new chapter at Beauaraba Medical Centre, our practice will be closed for renovations for the next two weeks while we complete some much-needed updates and prepare for Dr Jim’s arrival.
During this time, our team will still be available by phone and are more than happy to take your calls, assist with enquiries and book upcoming appointments. 📞
We will also be offering limited appointments during the transition period, so we ask for your patience and understanding while our team settles into our updated practice, new systems and supports Dr Jim as he gets to know our patients and the Beauaraba community.
These next couple of weeks are all about making sure we can provide a smooth transition for everyone — our patients, our staff and, of course, Dr Jim!
We’re very excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to welcome you back into our refreshed Beauaraba Medical Centre very soon. 💙

💐 Dr Kate’s final day! 💐
After three wonderful weeks of celebrations, farewells, stories and plenty of well wishes, today marks Dr Kate’s final day at Beauaraba Medical Centre.
It has certainly been a whirlwind, and we’re sure Dr Kate is very much looking forward to officially putting her feet up and enjoying retirement! ❤️
For so many years, Dr Kate has been an incredibly important part of Beauaraba and the wider Pittsworth community, caring for generations of local families and our Beauaraba Living residents.
While today marks the end of a very special chapter, it also gives us another opportunity to simply say thank you, Dr Kate — for your care, dedication and commitment to our community.
From all of us at Beauaraba Medical Centre and Beauaraba Living, we wish you every happiness as you begin this very well-earned next chapter.

💚 Celebrating Dr Kate's Retirement 💚

After nearly three decades of caring for the Pittsworth community, Dr Kate McEniery will retire from General Practice on Friday, 21 August 2026.

For so many local families, Dr Kate has been there through life's biggest moments – welcoming new babies, supporting generations of families, and providing compassionate care through both the happy and the challenging times. Her kindness, professionalism and genuine connection to our community have touched countless lives.

While we are incredibly sad to see Dr Kate retire, we are also so grateful for everything she has given to our patients and our community over the years. We wish her every happiness as she begins this well-deserved new chapter.

📣 Beauaraba Medical Centre Update 📣

While Dr Kate is taking a well-earned break, we are very pleased to welcome Dr Samanta to the Beauaraba Medical Centre team! 🌿

Dr Samanta will be consulting with us 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) during this period, helping to ensure continued care and support for our wonderful Pittsworth community.

We know how important access to local healthcare is, and we are very grateful to have Dr Samanta joining our friendly rural practice team. Please make him feel welcome when you see him around the centre 😊

🛡️ New RSV Vaccine Now Available

Free RSV vaccinations are now available for eligible patients under the National Immunisation Program (NIP).

✔️ Adults aged 75 years and over
✔️ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60 years and over

RSV is a common respiratory virus that can lead to serious illness, hospitalisation, and complications — particularly for older adults and those in aged care.

💉 The RSV vaccine is now free for eligible patients, helping protect those most at risk.
