Those tiny itchy red dots on your legs and stomach? Donât assume itâs just a rash. đż
In the Noosa Hinterland right now, paralysis tick nymphs are so small theyâre nearly impossible to see with the naked eye - but theyâre absolutely there and theyâre biting and itching like crazy!
We recently had a client present with multiple intensely itchy red dots on their legs and stomach. No visible tick. No obvious cause. On a hunch, we put the skin under a kidsâ microscope đ and there they were. Tiny tick nymphs, clustered and feeding, waving their nasty little legs
We prescribed our Post Tick Bite herbal tonic - both topically and internally. The formula contains Japanese Knotweed, Rosemary, Astragalus, Chinese Wormwood, Cryptolepis, Baical Skullcap, Sarsaparilla, and Black Walnut - herbs chosen specifically for their antimicrobial, antiparasitic and immune-supporting properties.
Under the microscope, topical application visibly killed the nymphs. Watching it work in real time was something else.
The good news? Our tick bite tinctures are available without a consultation - just message us or visit the clinic. You can also use tea tree oil applied to every red bump. #
If youâre spending time outdoors in the hinterland this season, this is your reminder to check carefully - and to know thereâs support available when you need it. đ±
