🌿 A Heartfelt Thank You from Bellview Connection 🌿

After much reflection, I’ve decided to close Bellview Connection. This has not been an easy choice, and my heart is full as I write this.

To every client, family, and supporter who has walked this journey with me — thank you. Your trust, your courage, and your willingness to show up for yourselves has been an honour to witness.

I have loved sharing my equine friends with you — their gentle wisdom, their humour, their grounding presence. And I will always treasure the nature walks along the creek, where conversations unfolded softly and healing happened in the quiet moments between footsteps.

Bellview Connection has been a place of connection, growth, and calm, and I’m deeply grateful for every person who became part of its story.

A snapshot of 50 recent funding applications to Animal Therapies Ltd shows the most common reasons for people needing animal-assisted support are mental health conditions, trauma and abuse recovery, anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, neurodiversity, financial hardship, and family violence recovery.

Applications were for children, young people, adults, parents and carers — with strong representation from children aged 5–12 and adults aged 35–55.

Animal-assisted and nature-based therapies can play a powerful role in helping people feel safe, connected and supported on their recovery journey.

Routine care is such an important part of keeping our horses happy, healthy and comfortable 💙

On Wednesday, Peggy and Pandora had their dental examinations. Peggy brought a little drama to the appointment at first 🤭 but with calm, patient handling she soon settled beautifully. Pandora, on the other hand, showed impeccable manners and took it all in her stride ⭐

It’s also a reminder that little Oriana will be due for her very first dental examination in another 6 months — they grow up so quickly!

We’ve also taken advantage of the recent rain to get feet tidied up, and vaccinations are next on the list so everyone heads into winter feeling their best.

Routine health care isn’t just about preventing problems — it’s about helping our horses stay comfortable, regulated and able to do their jobs confidently and safely 🐴🍃
