About the Therapist - Tina Renfrey
Tina has worked for over 30 years in the medical profession as a radiographer and ultrasonographer and so when she began training in Bowen Therapy in 2002 there was already a vast knowledge of the body, its systems and the dynamics of injury and disease. An interest and subsequent training in Smart Bowen Therapy began with a personal journey of recovery from injury.
Tina says she has a keen interest in helping people return to optimal health using Bowen and believes in approaching the healing journey in a holistic manner.
Registered with the Bowen Therapist Federation of Australia (BTFA), Tina is often attending conferences and tutorials to expand her knowledge as well as speaking at national conferences to share and learn with other therapists.
Tina recently completed training in the Peter Hess method of Sound Massage, where sound bowls are placed on the body to use sound resonance to bring the body into deep relaxation. This is now on offer as a treatment to clients and is available to book via the website.
