Stress isn't just something we think about.
It's something the body experiences.
When stress becomes constant, cortisol can stay elevated for longer than it was designed to, and over time this can affect our energy, sleep, cravings, mood, and the way we hold tension in the body.
What I find most fascinating is that many of the symptoms we judge ourselves for aren't signs that our body is failing us.
They're often signs that our body is working hard to protect us. Our body has an intelligence we truly are only beggining to understand.
Sometimes what we need isn't more discipline, more pressure, or another thing to fix.
Sometimes we need more rest.
More support.
More moments of feeling safe enough to soften.
