HAPPY MONDAY YOU BEAUTIFUL WITCHES!! 🖤🔮✨

Guess who's back from holidays, somewhat caught up on life and already questioning why I came home to this bloody weather. 😂🌧️

Vanuatu sunshine and cocktails feels like a distant memory already and I'm not entirely impressed about it.

BUTTTT we're back, the shop is buzzing, my brain has approximately 700 things it wants to do before Christmas and we're heading into one of my favourite times of the year!!

So here's a little Witchy Nook life update and what's coming up because apparently the calendar doesn't care that I've been on holidays. 😂

🌕 MON 26TH OCT | 6:30PM
Full Moon Circle + Sound Bath! A little reset, some relaxation and a chance to switch the brain off for a couple of hours. Lord knows we all need it.

🫖 FRI 6TH NOV | 6PM
Tea & Threads Workshop! A little creativity, a cuppa and some good company. What more could you want?

🌿 SAT 21ST NOV | 11AM
Wreath Making Workshop! Time to get those creative hands working and make something beautiful.

🔮 EVERY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY
Our beautiful readers are in store doing their thing! So if you've been wanting a reading, there's plenty of opportunities to book yourself in.

✨ EVERY MONDAY
Anissa is in for Reiki and Energy Healing sessions. Perfect if life has been feeling a little bloody loud lately.

And of course, the shop is open as normal, full of all your favourite witchy goodies and plenty of opportunities to come in and distract us from whatever we're supposed to be doing. 😂

Honestly, I feel like I blinked and suddenly we're heading towards November. HOW?!

We've got workshops to run, things to make, Christmas to prepare for and approximately 47 new ideas floating around in my head that the team probably doesn't want to hear about yet. 😂

But I'm excited!!

Here's to a fresh week, getting s**t done, making time for the fun stuff and hopefully the sun remembering that we're supposed to be heading into summer. ☀️

Just out here looking like I have my s**t together and can summon fire with my bare hands. 🔥🔮

Meanwhile, in real life, I've probably lost my phone three times today, have 47 unfinished projects and walked into a room only to forget why I was there. 😂

I feel like this photo perfectly sums up the two sides of me.

✨ The witch who has big dreams, trusts her intuition and believes a little magic exists in everything.

💀 And the chaotic human who makes questionable decisions, starts new projects before finishing the last ones and regularly wonders what the f**k she's doing.

And honestly, I think both versions are doing a pretty good job.

Because being a little witchy doesn't mean having your entire life figured out.

Sometimes you're the magic.

Sometimes you're the f**king chaos.

And sometimes you're both before 9am. 😂🖤

Please tell me I'm not the only one living somewhere between mystical goddess and absolute s**tshow. 😂👇

Behind every pretty crystal display is a whole lot of unpacking, cardboard boxes, heavy lifting and someone questioning how many more rocks we could possibly need. 😂🔮

Spoiler alert: there's always room for more rocks.

It's funny how something that looks so beautiful sitting on a shelf starts off with a mountain of boxes and a whole lot of chaos behind the scenes.

But honestly, this is the stuff I love. Finding beautiful pieces, unpacking each one and knowing they'll eventually find their way into someone's home.

And yes, we absolutely get excited over rocks for a living. What a weird and wonderful little world we've created. 🖤✨

I think one of my favourite things about The Witchy Nook is that somewhere along the way I decided we should make our own tea blends… and now here we are with an entire collection. 😂🌿

Because apparently just SELLING tea wasn't enough. I needed to start playing herbal mixologist too.

And honestly? I bloody love it.

Every blend has its own little personality.

We've got teas for slow mornings, busy brains, winding down, getting s**t done, period days and those moments where you just need to sit down with a cuppa and reconsider your life choices. 😂

All blended by us, packed by us, labelled by us and occasionally accompanied by a debate about whether something needs a little more peppermint.

There's something pretty cool about seeing something that started as a random idea in my head sitting on a shelf as an actual product that people take home and enjoy.

Although I'm still not sure how my brain went from "we should make a tea" to "let's make an entire f**king range."

Actually… that sounds exactly like me. 😂🖤

Important question though… are you a tea person, coffee person, or do you survive purely on chaos and caffeine? ☕😂

Just a reminder that behind every small witchy business is someone doing approximately 47 jobs.

Buying crystals.
Making products.
Answering emails.
Creating labels.
Posting online.
Running workshops.
Packing orders.
Doing paperwork.

And occasionally standing next to the pretties coloured water on an island "just doing one quick thing" on your phone because a holiday isnt a full holiday when your in charge.

Small business is magical.

Just a little reminder that you don’t actually need a reason to come into The Witchy Nook. 🖤

You don’t have to be coming in for a crystal.

You don’t need to spend money.

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for.

Sometimes people come in for a wander.

Sometimes they smell every tea.

Sometimes they stand at the herb wall for 20 minutes.

Sometimes they come in feeling s**t and end up having a completely random conversation with us at the counter.

Sometimes they bring a friend in and proudly give them the full tour like they personally own the place. 😂

And honestly?

I f**king love that.

I never wanted to create a shop where the whole interaction was hello → buy thing → goodbye.

I wanted somewhere you could explore. Ask questions. Learn something. Find something weird. Have a chat. Or just escape the outside world for ten minutes.

So if you haven’t visited us in a while… Come have a stickybeak.

There’s probably something new anyway because apparently I’m incapable of leaving the shop alone for more than five minutes. 😂

Do you ever stop and realise you’re currently living in something that once existed only as a random thought in your head?

There are so many days where I’m thinking about bills, stock, staff, emails, orders, what needs cleaning, what I forgot to order and the 764 ideas bouncing around my brain that I forget to actually LOOK at what we’ve built.

Then I’ll walk through the shop when it’s quiet and have a little…
Holy s**t.

People come here.
People bring their friends here.
They buy things we’ve made.
They come to our circles and workshops.
They trust us with their stories.

There are products sitting on shelves that started as me going “WAIT… what if we made…”

And somehow this weird little idea became a whole bloody world. If you have ever shopped with me, followed my journey, sent someone my way or supported me from afar... THANK YOU!!

That in itself is something to be proud of!

Financial responsibility has temporarily left the chat.

Oops… we accidentally ended up in Vanuatu again. 😂🌴🍹

Look, with the silly season about to properly kick off, we thought it would be a terrible idea to squeeze in one last little escape beforehand…

So naturally, here we are. Back in Vanuatu. 😂

Honestly, it didn’t take much convincing.

A few days of sunshine, cocktails, swimming, doing absolutely f**k all when we feel like it and pretending emails don’t exist sounds pretty bloody good right now. 🌊☀️

Meanwhile, The Witchy Nook is still running completely as normal thanks to my beautiful team holding down the fort while I disappear into island mode. 🖤

So the shop is open, everything is happening as usual and they’re probably enjoying the peace and quiet without me walking in with another 14 ideas. 😂
For now though…

Cocktail in hand.
Feet in the water.
Brain temporarily out of office. 🍹🌴

I feel like this is another thing I don’t talk about enough…

A LOT of what you see at The Witchy Nook is actually made by us. 🌿

Not ordered from some giant catalogue and unpacked into the shop.

Actually thought up, trialled, tweaked, labelled, packed and made by our little team.

Our tea blends. Bath salts. Ritual kits. Spell jars. Crystal tumble kits. Herbs. Simmer pots. And all the other random things my brain decides need to exist. 😂

There are recipes, ingredient orders, labels, packaging, wholesale orders and usually Mum somewhere in the warehouse with music blasting while she makes approximately 700 things at once.

I think because I see the process all the time, I forget how bloody cool that actually is.

You’re not just picking something off our shelf.

There’s a pretty good chance someone from our little team sat at a table and made the thing you’re holding.

And I f**king love that. 🖤
