A fun little trip chasing sunflowers 🌻

I was able to spend some time wandering through the beautiful fields at Mountain View Sunflowers in Hillville, and it was just what I needed.

Life gets busy.
Business gets busy.
Sometimes I forget to slow down for a minute.

No rushing. No long to-do list for a second. Just sunshine, fresh air and rows of beautiful sunflowers.

So just a little reminder it's okay to stop and smell the flowers sometimes (literally 😌)

Dad's been at it again... 🛠 😅

If you’ve been here long enough, you’ll know by now my Dad is basically responsible for half the shop fit-out at this point.

Always supporting the random “Bianca has an idea” projects…
and once again, he came through with the goods.…
and now he’s built us beautiful new shelving for our ready-to-go packaged herbs 🌿

So come check out the herbs… but also feel free to admire his handiwork while you’re at it 😂

For the last 12 weeks, Dylan and I have been part of a youth entrepreneur program designed to support small business owners through mentoring, mindset, learning, connection and growth, and it’s honestly been such an eye opening experience.

There’s been workshops, support, encouragement, new ideas, some big mindset shifts, and even a content shoot here at The Witchy Nook 🖤

Running a small business can feel a little lonely sometimes, so being surrounded by other local business owners who just get it has been really special. We’ve made connections, learnt so much, and walked away feeling really inspired for what’s next.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. To Julie for your guidance and support, the mentors, videographers, facilitators, everyone behind the scenes, and the incredible organisations, councils and supporters who invested in local small business and young entrepreneurs, thank you.

Opportunities like this genuinely make a difference ✨

This version of me had big dreams 🖤
Big ideas 🔮
And a whole lot of “what ifs”✨

At the time of this shoot, The Witchy Nook was still becoming what I hoped it could be.
I had so many visions
so many plans
and a few moments of wondering if people would truly understand me, the witchy side, the love of all things metaphysical, the weird little passions that make me… me.

Looking back now, I feel really proud ☺️

Proud of the growth.
Proud of the community.
Proud that I stopped trying to fit into spaces that never really felt like home.

Because the best thing I ever did was lean into who I really am.

So this is your little reminder, if you needed one…

Be yourself.
Chase the dream.
Wear the metaphorical (or actual 😏) witch hat.

You don’t have to shrink yourself to make other people comfortable.

And whether you’re deeply spiritual, crystal curious, or just figuring things out, you are always welcome here. No judgement, no expectations, just come as you are 🖤
