We are excited to announce the RACGP has just launched their first training package on lipoedema, created by a number of experts in lipoedema, including our Advisory Board Member Megan Pfeffer.
The training includes 5 case studies, each worth 2 hours of CPD, equalling 10 hours in total. It builds a solid foundation in lipoedema, including pathophysiology, differential diagnoses, co-morbidities and conservative care.
Next time you see your GP, please mention this training (save this post to show them the link or QR code) and encourage them to complete it. It is a huge step toward better outcomes for people living with lipoedema.
We encourage GPs who have completed the training to join Lipoedema Australia's new Professional Membership program for additional learning opportunities and inclusion in our directory of practitioners, so others with lipoedema are able to find providers who offer diagnosis, knowledge, care, and empathy.
What perfect timing for the launch of such impactful training, right at the start of Lipoedema Awareness Month.
