Today we are celebrating one of our amazing Star Clubbers and just how far he has come …

⭐️ Star Clubber LOGAN ! ⭐️

Logan started with Star Club, Mandalong in 2019 and is one of how inaugural Members. We have shared the ups and downs, cried and laughed, consoled and celebrated his journey with his mum, Sarah, over the years; and we have been privileged to watch the little boy with the big cowboy hat 🤠work hard, full of determination and a cheeky attitude, to overcome challenges, find his place, develop new skills and learn to believe in himself along the way.

… And, now, he is taking another exciting step into the wider community and achieving something truly special …

Logan has secured his first job! 🎉👏

This is so much more than a job. It is a huge milestone, that some may take for granted, but for Logan and his mum, Sarah, it represents growth, independence, confidence, opportunity and inclusion. 💙
… And Star Club are incredibly proud ! ⭐️

Logan’s success shows what can happen when people are given opportunities, guidance, mentors, support, a feeling of belonging, encouragement, love and the chance to shine.✨

Social and Community Participation matters and this reduction in funding will greatly affect everyone with a disability ! 🧑‍🦽‍➡️🌻

Hey Connor.

You know how you used to have support to get out into your community, see your friends, and live a pretty ordinary life? Well, here is a cheerful infographic to let you know that as of today, you have half of that left. But you are still smiling in the picture, so you must be fine.

Today, 1st of October 2026, the NDIS starts halving funding for social and community participation supports as it reassesses plans. The NDIS has shared an easy read to explain it. In the example, Connor's group activities funding drops from $27,000 to $13,500.

Connor is a cartoon. The people this affects are not. For many people with disability, this funding is what gets them out of the house, to work, to their friends and to the everyday things the rest of us take for granted. It is also often how someone notices when things aren't okay.

Dan Repacholi MP this is a federal decision, and people with disability across the Hunter need you to speak up for them.

Dave Layzell, the people affected live in your electorate too and their voices need to be heard at every level.

⭐️ Tamworth Business Chamber Quality Business Awards was a time to catch up with Tania from Connecting With Bricks Inc and the Lego characters that may be small but have big personalities.

Some very special Lego figures even attended just to meet Star Clubber Kyle, Coach Support Jemma, Founder Sharon and “El Presidentay” Stew, dressed for the black tie occasion of course! 🐎 🐧 🐴

Tania and her Lego friends have brought us a lot of fun and smiles for two Business Awards now, and we have to say we just love catching up with those little bricks. 🧱 🫶🏻. Zoom in !
