Worth a share. Iron deficiency is important to pick up. It can look like reduced appetite and fatigue but also trouble concentrating and lowered immune system.
If you read the article it doesn’t say to stop cows milk. It says moderate it to 2 cups per day. Cows milk is a source of protein so can be useful in a balanced diet particularly local and full cream.
But too much can block our ability to absorb iron.
You can buy home tester kits for ferritin from the chemist and see your GP for more extensive testing. Companies like I-screen allow you to book your own pathology testing.

Paediatricians across Australia are concerned about a jump in iron deficiency in young children due to excess cow's milk, and the need to better educate parents about the issue.

Did you know a Women’s Health Physiotherapist can help with pelvic pain?

Pelvic pain can have many different causes, which is why a thorough assessment is an important first step.

A Women’s Health Physiotherapist can assess and treat the muscles, joints and connective tissues that support your pelvis and torso. If you’ve tried the “usual” treatments without finding lasting relief, it may be time to look a little deeper.

The deeper core muscles including the pelvic floor, diaphragm and deep abdominal muscles play an important role in how your body moves, supports and functions. Understanding how these muscles work together can help identify what may be contributing to your symptoms and guide a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

If you’re experiencing pelvic pain and aren’t sure where to start, our Titled Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Clorinda, is available Thursdays at the BodyIQ clinic.

Call us or book online via the link in our bio.

A little behind the scenes of baby Georgia having a treatment with Shannon.

Georgia has been seeing Shannon for support with eczema flare ups, digestive upset and some nervous system regulation. Shannon has been using Homeopathic medicine in conjunction with the treatment to help Georgia.

Using gentle cranial osteopathic techniques, Shannon is helping to calm her nervous system and support the body’s natural ability to self regulate. This can be particularly helpful when little ones are experiencing challenges with digestion, sleep & settling.

Shannon has a beautiful, calm presence that makes her wonderful with babies and children. She regularly supports families with concerns relating to digestion, sleep, skin conditions, feeding, movement and development.

Call the clinic or visit our website to find out more about booking with Shannon.
