HeartBug is proudly Australian-developed technology, trusted by more than 150,000 patients nationally, with over one million ECGs analysed every week.

If you’ve experienced palpitations, dizziness, chest pain or an irregular heartbeat, HeartBug can continuously record your heart rhythm for up to 28 days—far longer than a standard 24-hour Holter monitor. In many cases, important rhythm abnormalities are detected after the first day of monitoring.

The device is fitted at our Port Macquarie clinic, with ECGs reviewed in real time by an expert cardiology team, helping provide timely information to the treating doctor.

As a locally owned practice based on the Mid North Coast, we’re committed to improving access to leading cardiac technology close to home, so patients don’t have to travel far for answers about their heart health.

The Coast Cardiology Beach to Brother is back for its 10-year anniversary — Sunday 6 September in Greater Port Macquarie!

One of the most iconic coastal trail runs in NSW, finishing on a high at North Brother Mountain. There's a distance for everyone:

🏃 5km · 10km · 21km · 42km · 42km Team Relay

This is a genuinely tough event: soft sand, coastal singletrack and a big climb so train smart and look after your heart. As a locally owned cardiology Clinic with a deep passion for healthy living, we are thrilled to be once again, the major sponsor for this event, now in its 10th year. Coast Cardiology will be out on the course as Melinda and Kristian assist as sweeps, making sure everyone gets home on the day.

Proud to have been a Gold Sponsor of the Hastings Cancer Trust event at Glasshouse Port Macquarie last weekend.

What an incredible night for our community. Together, everyone in the room helped raise $69,315, with an additional $20,000 private donation pledged to the Wauchope Palliative Care Unit.

Around 250 people came together for a cause that touches so many families across our region, and the energy in the room said it all.

Every dollar raised stays close to home. Grant applications open on 1 August 2026, with funds pledged to recipients right across the Mid North Coast.

Coast Cardiology is honoured to support the Hastings Cancer Trust and the vital work they do for our community. Thank you to everyone who came, gave, and made the night such a success.

🩺 Coast Cardiology welcomes Sean Carroll, Cardiac Nurse Practitioner, to the team.

Sean brings extensive cardiology experience and works closely with our cardiologists to support patients through post-hospital reviews, heart failure management, stress testing, medication optimisation, patient education and ongoing cardiac care.

His addition strengthens our ability to provide timely, high-quality cardiovascular care across Port Macquarie and the wider Mid North Coast.

We are excited to have Sean on board and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make for our patients and referring doctors.
